South Hills Golf Club

First time playing here - tee time Sunday afternoon. Course was pretty open with good pace. Course was in decent shape (especially for the price!). My only small complaints the starters and course staff were no where to be found when I had a question, and the greens were a little iffy on some holes. All in all, not a bad round and will return.

We were there for a wedding and it was beautifully decorated. They had a tent set up with heat lamps. Open bar and the photo booth. The food was good. I had the steak with steam broccoli and potato. Perfectly cooked medium rare. Other guest had the chicken with a sauce and they didn’t seem to like it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Service was quick with dinner and drinks. Cleanliness was great especially in the ladies restroom. Overall our experience there was fun and enjoyed the food. Don’t have many pictures because I was busy getting drinks.

Great golf course. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the older gentleman at the golf cart pickup. He had a horrible attitude and was very rude. Guess he was having a bad day. When we dropped the cart of the younger guy was alot nicer. Pace of play was good and cart on fairway access is awesome. We went on 11-22-2025, at 11:45 tee time!

Just went like 3 weeks ago with a group greens were just punched yet we paid like 50 each course coukd have been in better shape and for that price and not telling us the greens were just punched with basically a couple centimeters of sand on top we will all start taking are chances else we’re not the first time something like this has happened hell end of last year said it was like 38 on the website got there they tried charging me something totally different so watch out for that

We came with 16 paid golfers, , after the round our first group went In to sit down, no one was at the host table to officially sit our first group so they sat at a bar top table thinking no big deal. Because they weren’t officially seated by the host they ignored our guys, didn’t approach them at all. When we complained, their attitude was we were in the wrong so screw us! Unbelievable. The only people that got screwed was the servers who would have been tipped well by us. But they all seemed good with not serving us due to the fact the we didn’t officially get seated. Greens are decently quick, but fairways aren't in great shape and some greens are burnt and have holes. Layout is pretty straightforward. Restaurant looks really nice but didn't get to eat, so no comment there. Pace of play was pretty good. Good course, but nothing that jumps out.

Food here is great, not going to lie though the drinks are a bit over priced, and you don't seem to get what you paid for. Overall I would recommend going for food, and great service.

Course was in great shape and the greens weren't bad after all the rain we've had.

Played today 9/01/2025 That being said, Called in advance made a reservation, showed up to 4/5 groups teeing off on our T time and they shoved everyone on the south coarse to start … old guy as a starter wouldn’t split up people to spread them out, not sure why there are 4-5 old guys at the starter shed at once …not one of them told me the same thing 🤣🤣 11:36 t time and just finished up at 6:00 PM !!! 6.5 hours for 18 holes with a 30 min intermission is absolutely absurd 30 min a hole, worst part of it was 4-5 GROUPS per hole most of our entire day … wayyyy too many people on the coarse at o…

Greens could have been better but it did rain yesterday. Fairways were beautiful and the tee boxes were adequate. Worth the price. Played with 4 and had no issues with being rushed or stuck behind.

We have had several parties in the party room, plenty of space and very clean as well

This was my first time back in quite a few years and the course is just terrible. This used to be a pretty decent course. It's sad how badly they have let it go. It really could be a great course. Really fun layout. Just no regard for the condition. Greens are just horrific with brown spots, holes, and weeds. Majority of tee boxes are in really rough shape. The cart paths are overgrown and not maintained. Really hope they put the effort back into the course like they did the restaurant.
