In summary

South Lakes Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and overall enjoyable layout, making it a popular choice for both novice and experienced golfers. The course offers a good value with its reasonable fees and convenient amenities, including a grill and a well-stocked pro shop. They are not beginner friendly. I hadn’t played golf in about 20 years and it was my wife’s first time playing. We were being courteous and allowing others to play through. At the 7th hole we were told by management that we should be finished by now and everyone was waiting on us. I explained to him it was my wife’s first time playing. He said we should come around 6:30pm, that would be a better time. We won’t be going back.

This course was much better than the last course I played in the Tulsa area (LaFortune). The course itself (greens, fairways, tee boxes, etc.) were in pretty good shape. I did notice that some of the fringes were pretty eaten up, but all in all it was pretty good shape. It must be a Tulsa thing, though, because most of the tee boxes only had one tee marker out. This creates quite the conundrum when playing a tournament since it's impossible to define a tee box without two markers.

Challenging course for a beginner but it was a lot of fun too! I had an opportunity to use every club in my bag while exploring all over the court. Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Lovely little course. Kept clean, and a nice staff. Big problem with the driving range though. The mats are really worn out and covered with rocks that really chipped up my wedges in just a few swings. There's not many targets for how busy it is. Theres enough room for 10+ hitters but only a few bag stands. I'll be back to play the course but I'll pass on the driving range.

This is my go to public course. The greens are great right now. Staff are always friendly. Most the other golfers you encounter are laid-back and enjoying themselves. It’s a good value for your money for pellet course in Tulsa.

Short, fun course that isn't hard to walk on or get a tee time. Pro shop can be slow depending on who is working. Short walk to range, putting green and first hole. They have food, drinks, alcohol with plenty of seating in clubhouse.

Greens in exceptional shape for public course! Wish members at home course would clean ball marks like these greens appear to be kept. Great friendly staff!

Love it here but sadly I will no longer go here. Finally got a trainer. Paid my lessons in advance....by lesson #2 I never heard back from him and a time so I had to get my money back and all I got was..."it was busy sry" I gave my trainer 48hrs to give me a time. I had to message him most of our conversations. So my lessons suffer cuz ur trainer lacks the ability to set times

A nice wide open course with fast greens and some water for a challenge. The course was in great shape. Green fees and cart rental fees are relatively inexpensive and they have a nice grill for food and drinks.

Great place for your PR. Wouldn't know. Nice Course, great staff. Buddy lost a range finder and staff stopped him in the parking lot and told him it was in the club house from the day before.
