In summary

Southaven Golf Center is appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff, affordable pricing, and suitability for beginners and families. The course is generally well maintained, with a decent driving range and practice facilities, though some visitors find the greens and overall course conditions lacking. Criticisms include inconsistent rough cutting, limited amenities, and occasional issues with customer service and course policies.

I will absolutely be back here!!!!! Not only because the course is perfect for a Sunday afternoon with my hubby for a few hours, but because of the staff are sooooo NICE AND HOSPITABLE!!!! They helped me pick gloves out as it was cold out and I only needed them to keep warm as I wasn’t golfing, just driving my hubby around and spending time with him. They are soooo welcoming and informative here!!!! I highly recommend coming here!!!!

This course offers amazing play! It's well maintained, the pro shop and restroom is clean and organized. Can't forget the faithful discount ball bin! Every hole is good as gold! Greens are not the best but are very good!

Course looks horrible, people are rude as hell. 10 dollar rider fee for this shitty of a course is crazy.

Good 9 hole Municipal golf course. Well worth the green fee. The staff to me are very pleasant. Very good driving range. Decent practice green. Two sets of T boxes and two water coolers on the course(very important)! Plenty of carts if you are inclined to ride. I like the entire set up, I bought a yearly pass.

I like their driving range. However, $25 for one person to play with a cart is crazy. This course is not worth that. It’s like a backyard golf course.. For $1 or $2 more you can play 9 holes at Wedgewood or Cherokee (actually kept up with courses) with a cart.

We used to love coming here. What is a great course for beginner golfers or someone just looking for a cheap tee time has now lost our business due to poor customer service. We drove 40 minutes in the afternoon and arrived to the course at 5:40pm and was told by two separate employees that they were “no longer giving out carts after 5:30” even though the course closes at 8pm. While walking isn’t the issue, it would take longer to walk the 9 hole course versus using a cart. They also pull the pins of the holes at 7:30 so it makes it impossible to finish your round. While we understand wanting t…

Just getting into golf, so it's a nice little 9hole course pretty much around the corner to go play a round with my son that plays on the High School golf team.

Used the driving range and the attendant for the club house was a nice young lady. Helpful and charming. In and out. Called ahead to ensure they were open and answered timely. Did not go on the actual course, but the driving range was nice enough. The balls were newer. The only thing that might be worth adding is some chairs potentially. Had markers on the range which I think is usually underrated by golf ranges. 10$ for a large bucket. Little bit of trash breezing by due to large field essentially down town.

Paid 3 greens fees while in town visiting, got rained out after 6 holes and nobody was in the clubhouse by the time we made it back up there. The course never warrantied a rain-check. I attempted to call and utilize it again the next time traveling in, and was still told no. The clubhouse staff weren’t personable enough for me to argue about it.

Fun, simple course for beginners, and a great price! We can’t take our family of 5 golfing because of the costs and this is a wonderful option for us. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We’ve never had an issue with getting multiple carts.
