While this Muni is fairly wide open and just a bit rough around the edges it is a fun, at times challenging 18 hole course. Greens were fairly fast and in great condition for it being very late summer. Because the course is so wide open and sits high, wind can and will play a role. Worth the money and time if you are in the Iowa lakes region.

Spencer Muni hosted 2019 Special Olympics. Thankful for their generosity which included free use of golf cart. Nice course with a reasonable degree of difficulty especially for high handicap golfers.
