In summary

Emerald Hills Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained and challenging course, beautiful setting, and friendly, accommodating staff, particularly the highly regarded PGA Pro, Randy Rohlfsen. The club is described as having a welcoming community atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. However, some guests have noted issues with course construction, high beverage prices, and occasional staff rudeness during events, which detracted from their overall experience.

Emerald Hills is far more than just a golf course — it is a community, a family, and a place that truly embodies what the game of golf is meant to be about. From the moment you arrive, you feel that shared passion and respect for the game that connects every member and guest who walks through the doors. I was incredibly fortunate to call Emerald Hills home during my college golf years from 2021–2023. As a student-athlete, having a course of this quality to practice and compete on was a privilege — but what made it truly special were the people. The members didn’t just tolerate us being there;…

Great experience here. I knew Randy the pro from way back in my college days when he taught a course at the University. Beautiful, well kept course and friendly in the clubhouse. We got rained on the first day and came back to finish 9 holes the next day at no extra charge and I felt like that was very courteous and they didn’t have to do that. I will be coming back to play many more rounds here, very enjoyable experience.

Amazing course backed by amazing people! Always in great condition, tournaments are fun, & great for beginners and low handicaps. Can’t wait to get my daughter out there more this summer!

95$ for 18 holes 9 of which are under construction. Super disappointing that they are charging full price for a half effort course under construction. It was an act of God to even find hole 10. Strongly recommended staying away until this construction is finished

I went to participate in a tournament at the emerald hills golf course the course itself was literally pinned in by homes some of the t off spots were actually in between houses. No bathrooms on the course, men peeing behind every tree, it was so disgusting! I would never pay to play on this course. I could never imagine owning one of those homes and watching people pee on the ground constantly. You can do way better....

The course was amazing and in great condition. The guy behind the counter (didn’t catch his name) in the pro shop was rude and annoyed that our group didn’t have many experienced golfers and proceeded to keep jumping groups in ahead of us because we were going to be “slow” but we ended up waiting to hit most of the round anyway. And lastly the carts weren’t in good condition. The park brakes wouldn’t hold the carts from rolling down hills and one of our carts could barely climb itself up hills without being pushed.
