In summary

Spyglass Hill Golf Course is highly praised for its stunning coastal and wooded setting, challenging layout, and well-maintained conditions. The course offers a mix of links-style and tree-lined holes, providing a unique and exhilarating golfing experience. While the staff and caddies receive commendations for their helpfulness and expertise, some visitors note inconsistencies in bunker sand depth and temporary changes due to construction as minor drawbacks. Overall, it is considered a must-visit for avid golfers, offering both beauty and challenge.

Spyglass golf ⛳️ course is really cool 😎 and full of challenges! It is really wooded compared to Pebble Beach golf course but this course has plenty of beautiful views just like Pebble 🏌️‍♂️🏄‍♂️💙. I really enjoyed the experience of having a caddy. Anthony was so competent and helpful especially with how the greens rolled ! Spyglass has a practice green and driving range area right at the clubhouse unlike Pebble. Just like Pebble each person can walk or ride. It was nice to ride with the caddy and talk, but when I wanted to I just walked and let Anthony bring the cart up. Just like Pebble the c…

Honestly amazing in every way possible. Half way through it will have you questioning if you’re good at golf because of how challenging it is but then you just look up or at the conditions and it brings you right back. One of the if not the toughest course I’ve played and one of the best kept, nicest, pure courses I’ve played.

All in all, a great course and a must if you are an avid golfer. So much history here and it’s always great to tee it up where the pros play yearly. The course was in 8.5/10 shape. The greens are rolling great and the fairways and tee boxes are super pure. The starter never told us that 14 and 15 are changed and used temporary greens since there is construction happening on 15, it was fine but very unexpected. The only thing I had an issue with is that the bunker sand depth was pretty inconsistent. Some bunkers were fluffy when others were super firm and had maybe an inch of sand in them.

Spyglass is a real treat. From the start you get an ocean side course with the beauty of the Pacific. The back half of the course is a challenging tree-lined course with some very cool holes that you will love. A lot of people say that Spyglass is better than Pebble. In my opinion, if you are playing the courses just once each, I’m not sure I would agree with that. The views and some of the holes at Pebble are just more memorable. However over the course of many rounds, it is a good debate for sure. If you are headed out to Pebble, you have to try to play Spyglass.

Absolutely beautiful golf course. Love the mix of links style golf with treelined holes. It's almost like two smaller golf courses combined. It's just a gorgeous challenge. Hint... check the trees on #6 for a booze box. :)

What's not to love about this RTJ beauty. We'll, maybe the rough. Don't hit you ball into this rough, not see easy to get it out with any real chance to hit a green. Could not have had a better day!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Stunning course with a challenging layout, wide long fairways and tight greens that require good calibration. The views and the scenery are absolutely amazing and refreshing, the fauna and the ocean noise add extra to the experience. Well maintained grounds throughout the course, friendly and knowledge staff. I definitely recommend it, a bliss from the first to the last hole.

Often overshadowed by Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill is every bit its one-two punch partner. It’s charming yet tough, and in my opinion, far superior to Spanish Bay.

The course is obviously fantastic but I like coming here to practice. A small bucket is something like $12-14 but this is a PGA driving range, guys! There’s a practice green for chipping that is seldom used. Also, budget enough time for grabbing a table outside and drinking a beer watching golfers on the last hole. This is much less crowded that Poppy Hills where every worker is grumpy. This is much better!!

Had a blast on this iconic course! I had heard this was a difficult track and since I'm about a 14 handicap I had a little trepidation. You have to be Strategic with your shots and you will do fine. I shot a 96 with some obvious blow up holes so I can't complain and we had a blast.

Holy wow. What a dream course. Play here during sunset on a beautiful day with light wind if you have the option. This track was such a dream

Spyglass is an awesome golf course, but if you are looking, you probably already knew that. Super fun to play, challenging, and great conditions. Cart path only is a bummer, should have just walked. Would love to go back. Seems like they fertilize and water a lot, but hey, they have lofty expectations to meet.
