In summary

St. Mark's Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and affordable pricing, making it a suitable choice for casual golfers and those new to the sport. The course layout is considered fun and challenging enough, with improvements noted over recent years. However, some visitors have encountered issues with customer service, citing unprofessional behavior from staff, and there are mentions of crowded conditions and fairways needing better upkeep.

Great local 9 hole. especially for ladies and those just starting. the right amount of challenge. The greens and T boxes are well maintained. The sweetest staff at the club house. Carts are clean! The monday womens league is casaul and social.

Lively staff, well maintained greens but not fast. Not too difficult to walk with a pull cart, fairly small course with just one short par5 hole with rough unprepared fairways, lot of greenery around because of heavy rain and could be dry otherwise.

Avoid at All Costs — Unprofessional Staff and Management with Alarming Behavior I recently had an encounter with Southborough Golf Course that was so egregious I feel compelled to warn others. My son was at the course with a group of friends. From the outset, the desk clerk "Ken" gave them attitude during check-in, not just a gruff tone, but a clear lack of courtesy or patience. The boys chose to let it go and kept things moving. Later, while waiting for me near the putting green, my son (admittedly not aware chipping wasn't allowed there) chipped a ball. Rather than simply informing him of…

I've played this course well over 100 times it was the course that I learned to play golf on the price is fantastic for 9 holes of golf the greens are in the best shape that I can remember in the 14 years I have played here the tee box's do get chewed up and the fairways get stressed in the heat of the summer overall, the layout is challenging enough to have fun but easy enough to make this the perfect course to learn on and start your golf journey and personally I have never had any issues with the staff always been respectful at the least overall I think it is a great value for what you play…

Easy, affordable course but crowded and unkempt fairways. Tee boxes were mostly dirt and under repair. Very unfriendly course ranger who made the outing stressful. If you want an affordable course this is for you, but bring a helmet. Probably a better course on a week day when it’s not so busy.

This is a great course. If you some kind of big shot and that only plays PGA level courses, you wont be happy here. If you are looking for a relaxed round after work, its great. It is challenging enough, especially for casual players. Is it perfectly manicured? No it's not. But the staff is very chill and they've been making some notable improvement's over the last couple years. Manage your expectations.. It's a $22/round course..

Staff is great, course has enough variety to keep you interested throughout the round. Grounds and course condition could use some attention.

Greens this year we're far better then some local big names. This is a short track that benefits from natural rainfall & shines in a wet year as we just had. Play here often, just not when it's been dry.

For $16 bucks on a weekday, and $20 on the weekend, it's a great 9 hole course, if a bit short. The fact that you can handily reach every green in two, and that several of the fairways are alongside one another, means that you can usually find your ball if it's not in the fairway and the opportunity exists to score well if you're hitting the ball accurately. The best holes IMO are 1, 6, 8 and 9. All the greens are in terrific shape...much better than other courses who charge two or three times as much as SMGC. If you're within 10 miles, you should be playing here weekly.

Man at the front desk was not only unaccommodating, but straight up disrespectful and rude. Quite a bummer as this is a fun, reasonably priced little course I’d like to return to.
