Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans

Played a round here today and overall had an enjoyable experience. The layout is interesting and offers a nice variety of holes, with water coming into play on several shots which keeps the round fun and challenging. The fairways were a bit brown in places, which seems fairly typical for this time of year. The greens were not perfect but still in good playable condition and rolled reasonably well. Stonebridge was the perfect venue for our Birthday and Anniversary celebration during the Christmas season. The place was decorated for the holidays, has a great space for a medium-sized crowd, and the service was exceptional. The staff were responsive, friendly, and very helpful. The food menu offers a great selection of entree times and passed appetizers. We got great feedback on our specific selections. Played this course back in early April 2025. The layout, pace of play, staff friendliness, locals that I spoke with are all nice. The greens however are terrible. They were renovating a part of the clubhouse and that $ should have been spent on greens. It could be a nice course and I’m not sure why members don’t demand more of the greenskeeper. There are nice houses on this course. It’s not worth the $. Spend a little more and go play English Turn. Photo of green attached. Looks like fairway.

Just hosted our first annual charity golf tournament. I have to honestly say if I wouldn't have had the help of Norma, I'm not sure things would have gone so well. We will have all of our future tournaments here. Course was in great shape. The entire staff was extremely patient and helpful, we can't thank yall enough.

A dream come true! After Hurricane Ida damaged our original venue, Stonebridge become a dream come true and more than we could have asked for! The staff was incredibly accommodating, helpful and supportive. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was beautiful and no detail was overlooked. They worked well with all vendors and treated our guests like family. They venue is recently renovated and more beautiful than ever. There are no words to express how grateful we are to the entire team at Stonebridge. I would recommend over and over again!

All The Stars! We had the pleasure of celebrating Karla & Marvin's vow renewal on April 27, 2024 at Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans, and it was a night to remember! The venue was stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for their special day. Norma was an absolute angel. Everything was so perfect and everything I ever dreamed my wedding to be. Norma was very thorough and insightful on every question I had. From the beginning I was a nervous bride just wanting everything perfect. Norma helped put my mind at ease and ensured that my special day went off without issue. I did of course have some hiccups in the day but Norma handled it and I didn’t have to worry at all. I can not express how lovely Stonebridge and their staff were to us from start to finish. I will plan other events here in the future!

My now husband and I decided that we would get married only 8 months after he proposed. With such a tight timeline we needed a venue that we could trust to carry out such an extravagant and unique wedding in a short amount of time. We initially chose Stonebridge because of the option to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. We also wanted to have our wedding somewhere that could comfortably accommodate our 200 guests! Norma and her team were phenomenal! This was my first time organizing a golf tournament, and Norma helped me so much! In coming back next year!

Course conditions are horrendous, the fairways are severely neglected, with the greens somehow being worse. Only reason to golf here is if you want to hack up the course and get drunk with your friends.

Fantastic golf course, a little bit difficult for beginners but fun none the less. There's a lot of water so be ready to lose some balls jaida the manager on duty helped us out a lot and made sure we knew where to go. If she is the manager that morning it's going to be a good day golfing. Great food and service

The photos on their website do not represent what the course conditions are. The tee boxes are like the rough. The fairways need cutting and must have 3 or 4 different types of grass. The bunkers have weeds and grass growing in them, but the greens are the worst part of this course. They need to be cut, rolled and weeded. Take some pride in your course. Right now I can not recommend this course to friends.
