Stratford Country Club

This was our wedding venue and it was perfect! We can’t say enough nice things about our coordinator Megan and the venue. Their we’re so responsive during planning and on the day. They also provide so many extras to make the day special. Decor items like vases and candle holders were so helpful. The fact that they do all your set up and clean up is also amazing. The food was lovely and so was the service. We also appreciated the support from Danette and Julie who were especially supportive throughout the event.

We attended a wedding here earlier this month, and the venue & gardens are beautiful. We were amazed with the quality and taste of the buffet dinner as well. I especially loved the arugula salad and the vegetarian pasta!!

I want to first off explain we are very simple people that are easy going but this venue went above and beyond to make our special day perfect for us! It all starts by meeting with someone wonderful from the Venue, we were lucky enough to get one of the best in the business, Charlene. She set up a sit down, answered any of our questions and made us feel like kings and queens. We felt the communication was very clear from the beginning to end. She helped us with Vendors, choices we had no clue about and the venue itself is gorgeous, its been renovated within the last few years and they keep up…

This is a beautiful wedding venue with friendly staff. As a wedding photographer and filmmaker, we can truly appreciate all of the beautiful areas on the property for photos.

A decent event space. I’ve not particularly enjoyed the craft and book shows here, but those are organized independently from the space. The venue is very nice. I’m going to skip future events, but the restaurant downstairs smells amazing so I’ll have to check that out next time.

I would actually give the golf course a 4.5. It was in good shape considering the flooding that they have had this year with all of the rain. Only hole 12’s fairway was “chewed” up. I would say that this course was fun to play. There are plenty of elevation changes but still walkable. I played with 3 members and they were very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed 10 of the holes. My favourites were holes 2, 5, 6, 11, 16 and 17. 12 was nice too but some trees need to be trimmed or removed in the right side. I would definitely come back to play.

My husband and I just had our wedding over the weekend and could not be more happy with our experience at the Stratford Country Club. Our coordinator Megan was so attentive to every detail and made sure our reception ran smoothly. The whole team was lovely and so helpful during set up. The food was phenomenal and all of our guests had an amazing time! Thank you again Megan for all your hard work!

Megan was our coordinator for our wedding and it was the best day of our lives! Char gave us the tour before we decided to book and she made a great 1st impression on us! The staff here are wonderful, and you truly get the best bang for your buck here! Megan was at our beck and call all the way from the beginning and it was truly such a load off knowing the venue does so much of the heavy lifting for you. They worked seamlessly with my family to help set up our intricate table settings. I HIGHLY recommend Stratford country club for any future brides!!

Amazing course. Been living in Stratford for 3 years and never played the course until a couple weeks ago. Have played 6 rounds in that time and my go to for golf in the area. Memorable holes and they keep things in great shape. Rob, Razz and rest of staff doing a great job!!!!

Hi, so we attended a wedding on July 25 2025 and the venue was amazing the flowers the golf course it was impeccable. We attended Jesse and Maddie Hayers wedding. And the set up was beautiful. Everything was spot on as per the schedule. But actually, I’m writing this review for the disc jockey they had. Unfortunately, I don’t know his name, but he played the bongos and the music was incredible.. The bride and groom were up for the first dance and the disc jockey said everyone join the floor for the bride And groom. The dance floor did not stop all night long. I don’t know where this disc jocke…

We hosted our daughter’s wedding at the Stratford Country Club in September 2024. The event planning staff are excellent, very accommodating professional, and easy to work with. The food was plentiful and fabulous. All special requests for the day were met with a ‘can do’ attitude, making it an absolute pleasure to work with them. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or other special event.
