In summary

Stratford Municipal Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and casual golfers. The course features a straightforward layout with wide open fairways and a good driving range, though it only offers nine holes with alternate tee boxes for those wishing to play 18. Some visitors mention the occasional slow pace of play and a lack of water hazards, while a few have noted concerns about staff interactions and mask-wearing policies.

Course is doing much better! Greens ran quick. The only complaint I have is they need to level out the fairways so there are not so up and down. Great for beginners!

If you just want to get out and play golf without the high brow pressure, this course is great. Easy going, casual and fun. Not a huge challenge, no water hazards but honestly, what you get is a well maintained, public course in town that doesn’t cost stupid money to play on, and good fun! The driving range is good. The food is good, staff are great: I love it!

Course is good. Do not use range as the turf is awful. You will lose your tee’s every swing

This place is great whether you're a beginner or an experienced golfer. They don't have a dress code, and their membership prices are pretty good too. Management knows what they're doing. Everyone is super polite and patient there as well

This course is great for a nice night out with varying type of golfers. Not very many chances to lose balls or get into trouble. It's only 9 holes but has different tee blocks to play 18. The course is going to have a different, more open feel to it once the ash trees all come out. Many are already dead.

This course is as entry-level as you'll come across with super slow play on weekends. Bonus...no water. Staff is quite friendly.

Not a bad course. Was not expecting to play the same 9 holes twice but from different tee boxes. Not terribly challenging in the way of course design.

Good cheap friendly and moderate ly difficult course. Less maintained than SCC but very good job still. Would recommend driving range and 9 holes

Great price, great for beginners, but s little rud when told you don't have to play every hit,, took that as a hurry up other people playing

Well kept, but only nine holes with shifted tees if you want to play 18. No water and wide open.

Good value for what you are paying. Course isnt too challenging, ground is pretty hard at times so you get a lot of roll distance when driving.
