In summary

Summerheights Golf Links is widely praised for its well-maintained courses, with lush fairways and excellent greens, offering a good mix of challenging layouts across its two 18-hole courses. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the quality of the clubhouse amenities and food. However, some guests have noted issues such as slow pace of play, outdated carts, and a lack of on-course beverage service, which could detract from the overall experience.

Course was in great shape for opening day! Unfortunately we had to cut our round off at 9 holes due to the extremely slow pace of play of the 2 or 3 groups in front of us. Marshal wasn't present to enforce pace of play.

This is a nice golf course it has 36 holes. We played Matheson. There could be better signage for where the next tees are. We got a bit lost twice. The score card course map was hard to see. The non member carts are older and very rough to drive. Overall it was good a good time my husband shot a 73 only the 3rd time playing here.

Great course and well maintained. An absurd rule of not allowing carts out of your tee time is past 2:30 pm though. Very strict on the cart rule also, even after kicking a fuss. Never heard of that at any golf course before.

Solid well-maintained course. Played Matheson which was not overly difficult, pretty flat and pace of play was great. No drinks cart, just a vending machine at the turn. Wish I'd known that as I'd have packed some drinks and snacks. Overall, not really worth the pricetag. For ~$90 (w/ cart) on a weekday, you can get better value at some other nearby courses.

Great course, starter was very polite, pro shop was great. Biggest flaw for myself and my boy's is you have to be 19 for a cart, to me that is pretty crazy and we usually go to other local courses where it is a more reasonable age of 16-18

2 courses one location, Maclennan and Matheson. For me Matheson is the easier of the 2. Both pose a good challenge and are always in great condition. Staff has always been kind and courteous. Me and my son will be back!

Hi Katie, Thanks again for hosting our CWGI event yesterday. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed your courses. Two of them even commented that it felt like Magnolia Lane as they drove into the course with the tree lined driveway. The fairways, greens were immaculate. Our league golfs at over 55 area courses each season and your greens are by far the best conditioned ones I have walked on in a long time. I really had to look hard to find ball marks to repair. Same goes for your fairways, and don't get me started on how neat, tidy and well maintained your on-course facilities are. We also appreciated…

Very nice staff and members. Best quality course for the buck for sure. Both 18 holes offers a great challenge with quality layouts. Also very good food !

We played the West course today. It was our first time playing Summerheights and it didn't disappoint. It's been a scorching hot, relatively dry summer, but the course was in magnificent shape. There were a few dry/burnt spots in the rough, but the fairways and greens were lush. Possibly the best greens I've ever seen. There is a good mix of tight and open fairways, and the putts roll true. We will definitely be back!

Very well maintained course, well two courses actually. Both are beautiful with the West Course considered the easier of the two. Very welcoming staff and lovely '19th hole.'
