Talbot Trail Golf Club

From start to finish it was a beautiful day at this golf course. Adjacent to Wheatley Provincial Park with plenty of parking for our RV. Lunch was excellent. Service friendly. Course spectacular from tee to green. Love the history of this course and we will return when we are back in the area. We are 2 seniors traveling Ontario in our RV.

Such a gem of a course. Enjoyed one of my nicest nine holes of the year here today. Great layout, good mix of holes, great conditions on the greens. Talbot Trail is a place where you can tell the course cares about how it looks and plays. Such a treat to play. Highly recommended.

Disappointing experience. My husband and I booked a tee time weeks ahead of time. When we arrived that day we were told that we had to pair up with another couple, they would not honour the tee time we booked. I have worked at a golf course and been golfing plenty, this was our first time trying Talbot Trail. I have only ever been made to pair up at one other course in Jasper. I am not a confident golfer so I prefer not to be with people I do not know, I usually end up playing my husband’s best ball to speed us up. I would never hold up a group with my crappy play. A great little track, such character with challenging yet forgiving holes. We camp once a year in Wheatley Provincial Park and always try to get a couple of rounds in... there are other courses in the area but we like this one the best. There is no Pro Shop per se, but the staff manning the desk are friendly and knowledgeable and nice to see Covid protocols and cleaning is extensive. And take an extra club on 9!

The Gold Course itself was pretty good, but the marshal was incredibly rude and told us that their golf course was for experienced golfers only, very disappointed

Great little golf course but WAY too expensive. It was 89 dollars for two people for 9 holes with a cart. You can play Belleview which is a much longer course two people 18 and a cart for 90 dollars so 9 more holes for a dollar more.

Wish I could give zero stars. Came up from Ohio to play with a aquatance and we were not able to play. We had a appointment and still they refused us. Terrible customer service. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful nine hole golf course the day we were there wasn’t too busy. Everything was in beautiful condition except for my golf game.

Great 9 hole course. It is in very good condition with undulating fairways that you don't see with the other local courses. The greens ran true and smooth. We played a 3 hr round of 18 holes.

What a great 9 hole hidden gem! From the tips it is quite a challenge to navigate the fairways through the woods, but the beautiful and large greens make it worthwhile! Taylor in the pro-shop was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A terrific ambassador for the course. I will definitely play again if I am in the area. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a driving range.
