Tanglewood Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, picturesque layout, and the overall condition of the course, which many find to be a hidden gem in a beautiful setting. The staff is often noted for their friendliness, and the course offers thoughtful amenities such as veteran discounts. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the outdated and noisy golf carts, slow pace of play, and additional fees, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Played here today. Beautiful day with a healthy breeze most of the day. The course itself is in amazing shape. I don’t think I ever found a bad spot on the fairway or green. The greens were cut great, smooth, and free from blemish. The fairways provided a nice lie and were cut well. I love the links style course but would challenge them to add more bunkers to increase the character. Overall the golf was great and the price deserving. A few challenges. The carts are the jankiest and noisiest. Mine had parts of the frame and roof loose so the noise it made preceded my arrival by what seemed an…

Easily the nicest public course I've ever been on. Kept in great condition, quiet, and every hole is just picturesque.

Visited on 5/27/24. Worse customer service ever!! The girl with the pink top extremely rude. Not enough carts for people who have reserved tee times, carts not inspected before giving them to customers.bathrooms dirty trash cans along the course over flowing, no water. Hotdogs, brats ice cold no warning. We had an afternoon tee time... absolutel mess. This place needs better management and needs to take lessons from other golf courses. For what we paid for four people. You would have expected way better. Complete waste of time and money.

Approximately a year ago, I had the pleasure of playing this golf course, unsure of what to anticipate. What I discovered was nothing short of a hidden gem, a true delight for any golf enthusiast. The course boasts a meticulously designed layout that challenges players of all skill levels while offering a scenic and engaging experience. The greens were a standout feature, impeccably maintained with a smooth, consistent roll that elevated the overall enjoyment of the game. While a few fairways showed signs of damage, likely due to a fungal issue or disease, the affected areas were minimal and d…

Can't wait to go back! From the local municipal courses, I feel like this has been the best. Greens, fairway, layout, and overall keep is superior. Went to a tournament and very impressed. Booking another round this weekend.

I hadn't played here in several years but was in the area and I was very impressed. Course was in great shape! Kudos to the maintenance staff. The last few weeks have been brutal weatherwise and the course still looks and plays great. Excellent value.

Good Greens and tee boxes. Fairways hit or miss. Not a fan of roller dogs and no beverage cart

My husband went with 3 of our grown sons. They paid for 4 carts and in the middle of the game, someone came out and took 2 of the carts back and refused to refund the cart fee! Sounds like bad business to me. I'm sure they see themselves as "better than thou" and do not care about the revenue brought in but putting it out here never another dollar spent at that trashy course. You're welcome.

If you’re a walker don’t play here. Not because it’s not a walkable course, it definitely is. It’s a fantastic course but the service here is horrible. I’ve played here for several years and have always been harassed about walking but they’ve allowed it. Today they forced me to pay the cart fees and then told us they are now instituting a ban on walkers before 12 pm on weekends. Silliness. Funny thing is we caught the carts in front of us in 3 holes and they played a 5 hour round. No one came to check on their pace even though they were clearly behind. Walkers are literally never the reason fo…
