In summary

Tara Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, enjoyable layout, and friendly clubhouse staff, making it a popular choice among local golfers. The course is noted for its challenging yet accessible design, with several fun holes over water and a well-stocked clubhouse. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, particularly during league times, and occasional issues with staff demeanor and single-player accommodations.

Customer Service - (5/5) Course Design - (4/5) Course Condition - (4/5) This is definitely one of the better public courses in the city. The people in the pro shop are good, the course design is relatively solid, and the condition is good. Overall, this is a good course to play if you are looking at city courses.

This is our first time trying out this course and we will not be back. Not a bad course but the staff is beyond rude if you take your time or are a beginner golfer. The gentleman at the front desk told us other courses would kick us off because of how long we took, saying even though we were letting other golfers play through and there isn’t an issue with that, that we need to hurry up and shouldn’t be taking a break in the club house before the back 9. Typically 18 holes takes around 4 hours, for reference we were out there for a little under 5. I would not recommend this place. Way to make p…

Tried to get out to play there were three groups less than four players asked if I could join was told couldn't get me on as a single for two and a half hours explained I spoke with people out on the putting green and they advised they were a group of either two or three and they said sorry we'd have to get put you on with somebody that would be coming at a later tee time. This course continues to not let singles on the weekends.

I play this course quite frequently and it’s been a fun public course. My only concern are that golfers don’t take care of the green and course divots. I enjoy playing here and will continue to!

The course is challenging, without being excessively difficult. There is no driving range, so show up "loosened up". I have a slice and I was able to find my balls along the right edge on almost every hole. There are some fun holes over water. The one thing this course desperately needs is a polite (again: polite) ranger rolling around keeping the evening leagues moving! We played 9 and were 30m behind pace halfway through. We watched league players practice 3 or 4 swings in the fairway and 7 swings over a putt while they had 4 groups backed up behind them. 3h 15m for 9 holes is gross.

Great golf course, on a great budget! Got invited last minute and we played 18, it was great! Can't wait to go back. the back 9 was a little better I think for my type of game...which is more military than anything (left, right, left right you get the idea) 18 was a tough hole

While driving down corn husker had a golfer hit my windshield with a golf ball. Was told the golf course is not liable for damages caused by their patrons.
