In summary

The Blue Heron Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic setting, friendly staff, and beginner-friendly layout, with some visitors enjoying the wildlife and peaceful environment. However, many reviews highlight concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens and fairways, which some find inconsistent or neglected. While the amenities like the clubhouse and restaurant receive positive feedback, several golfers feel the course's current state does not justify the pricing.

As a beginner to golf, I really enjoyed golfing here. It was a chilly 55° partly cloudy Saturday in spring. Bathroom: Loved that they had a single user restroom easily accessible downstairs at the club house, which was perfect to use and not waste any time after the first 9 holes. But in case that's being used, there is another 2 stall restroom upstairs. Also, in the upstairs women's restroom, I really appreciated seeing that there was a box of tampons. Parking: plenty of parking. Course: As a beginner, I really enjoyed this course as there were several holes that were under 150 yards. FYI-…

I had a good time at the course. The grounds are a little inconsistent. Some places are in great shape. There are others not do much. There was a lot of loose grass all over the place. I enjoyed the layout of the course. I played again on 8/21/24. I believe they are planning to redo all the greens. There were at least 6 temp greens. Those that were "normal" were all burnt out and cracked. The fairways were pretty hairy. No ball roll. The staff were great. James checked us in. It was great to chat with him. A really tall young man took care of us for lunch. He made sure we had what we needed. I…

Greens are fried !!! Cart paths are half dirt with huge holes, no soap/water in the ball cleaners. Mosquitoes everywhere (bring bug spray). Pro shop employees are nice, reason for the second star ! You pay $50 for a course that isn’t maintained at all. First time is our last time! Will not be returning, hopefully they can get some kind decent maintenance out here for next year! Shouldn’t be charging a price that is absurd for this kind of course!

Great course very deceiving on the blue looks easy until you get on it lot of sand and water to navigate. We were here for the us kids golf tournament great spot for it some kids didn’t get to finish because the public was really slow kinda a bummer has parking at the very entrance by the maintenance area for an Rv the wildlife around the course is cool as well bald eagles 🦅 Heron’s some beaver looking things and Canadian geese

The dryest, most burned up course I've ever played before. Absolutely not worth $70 per person to play 18. This course is in worse shape than the national debt. It's in worse shape than Trump is. The grass was more dry than when you go out drinking and don't drink any water and wake up in the middle of the night and your mouth is like a desert. The restaurant was very pleasant and staff there were great. I won't come back for the course, though.

Top 3 for me so far, loved the greens. Each tee box has great views and challenging rough... Stay on the fairways.. Lol would play again!

Don’t let the mediocre aging gas carts take away from the spacious large tree lined fairways. Easy course layout with many varieties of hole configurations. Easygoing putting green and driving range.

Our first time playing here. Course was wet but love the trees surrounding the course…love being in the woods! It will be nice & green in the summer. Will be back to play here!

This course could be a lot better, very easily. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Some of the sand traps are overgrown with weeds, there were lots of branches and sticks all over (not pictured), and there was an unkept/muddy part of the cart track. It wasn't as frustrating when the prices were still lower, but they were raised not too long ago, and the issues are still there.

Completely unplayable conditions. This was hands down the worst condition I have ever seen a golf course in. The "greens" are completely destroyed. Cost $50 ($57 incl. taxes and fees) on a weekend to walk. I can't believe I'm saying this, but you're better off going to Twin Rivers. Seriously, it is that bad. They make no indication of the course condition on their website or in the price. It is completely wrong to be charging $50+ for a round of golf here. DO NOT PLAY, STAY CLEAR!!! In addition to the atrocious greens, the rough is so long that you will lose a ball that is just off the fairwa…

THE GOOD: 1. Very pretty, peaceful place with Snoqualmie River running alongside and lots of trees, shrubs and wetlands, no houses, no freeways. Heard and saw lots of birds. 2. Laid back, not rushed. Of course, we were playing on Tuesday early afternoon, so not the busiest time to play. 3. New clubhouse with good food service, bathrooms, bar, pro shop, etc. 4. Flat, very walkable. My fitness app said I had walked 4.6 miles after playing 18 holes. 5. Not a lot of bunkers! THE NOT SO GOOD: 1. The course is not well-maintained. There were bare spots. The greens were bumpy. Some fairways were not…

This was one of my favorite golf courses. I have many great memories. I’m sad to hear it is now temporarily closed. The course layout is great. The people are nice, and the driving range/practice area is grass and very large. The restaurant and deck was a wonderful place to have lunch as well. I hope somebody can make this place successful.
