In summary

Buhl Farm Golf Course is widely praised for its unique offering as a free 9-hole course, with well-maintained greens and a friendly, welcoming staff. Visitors appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot for families and those new to golf. However, some mention that the pace of play can be slow at times, and there are occasional concerns about staff attitude.

Buhl Farm Golf Course is an awesome spot and a really unique experience. It’s the only 9-hole public golf course and driving range in the United States that’s completely free to play, which is pretty amazing. Me and my coworker were in town for work and decided to stop by and check it out. Everyone there was really friendly and welcoming, and they even let us take a few swings on the simulator for the first time. Great course, great people, and a really cool place for anyone who loves golf. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re ever in the area.

What a great place. Adam and Josh are great, helped us out with a tee time at another course when we turned up and they had a tourney going off. We played the next morning and they couldn’t have been more friendly given the miserable morning it was. Shout out to the greenkeepers, the greens are outstanding!!!

Great place to work on your game. For free. The only free 9 holes golf course in the area. They have cart rentals and you do have to pay at the driving range but the course . 100% free

The course is nice and it is relatively challenging for the size. Definitely better conditions than in previous years. I tend to try to go early because if you go during the day, the pace of play is slow. I’ve come mid day and been on the course for over 2 hours. The only suggestion I would make is to give the greens keeper who works the mornings a vacation. His attitude and the way he snips at people definitely shows that he needs one. Per him, it’s apparently not allowed to hit a provisional.. he’s the only reason I quit coming as often.

About three years ago, some friends and I were visiting my brother in Sharpsville. On a whim, we decided to try Golf. We borrowed some second hand clubs and a lefty putter, and struggled like crazy 🤣 That day, we all started our golfing journey Now, Buhl becomes a staple every year for us. We live hours away from each other, but as long as Buhl is there, we'll keep coming back. You truly can't find free golf anywhere in the US, except here. We really appreciate how well maintained and fun it is. Cant wait to try the Sims sometime!

Could not stop smiling during our Saturday afternoon round. Very relaxed and way less busy than expected. Amazing conditions for a free course. There was kids playing, having a good time golfing everywhere and being respectful; I haven't seen 10 year olds smile without their cell phones in years. Overall a 10/10 experience that I recommend to anyone. Course is long and a decent challenge, do not expect a par 3 easy course , just because it is free does not make this any easier

The sign infront of me didn't say that that's why the gentleman next to me giving me pointers was on the grass as well the whole points was the attitude by the gentleman telling us. Next time there will be issues so just make sure he's polite is the main thing he'll even if he did have attitude come up an give it not shout it pass 3 others! Next time he tries something like that it will be the last! Thank you

Just finished a round here, lovely place. The staff was very friendly. Hit a small bucket for 7$. Can’t complain about the free round. All-in, a very good experience.
