In summary

The Devon Golf & Conference Centre is praised for its beautiful setting in the North Saskatchewan River Valley, well-maintained course conditions, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors enjoy the challenging layout despite its shorter length, and the clubhouse is noted for its good food and welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have experienced slow pace of play and issues with certain tee boxes and greens, while a few have had negative experiences with the restaurant service and management.

I was speaking with one of their board members today Brent, and I appreciated him asking if I had any comments on the course and what they could possibly do better. I indicated some of the tee boxes could improve by being on flat ground (they are not that bad), he told me they had identified this and working on it. July/2025 We probably play 12 to 15 rounds a year at this course. It is a shorter course but it can be a challenge. We were happy to see the 1st tee box is back in the shape a tee box should be. The staff are very pleasant, I've managed to leave my range finder twice and both times…

Golfed here a few times love the course but the old guy driving around telling me im going to slow sucked I have a group 75-95 yards in front of me so I wait for them to get a little bit further I dont mind waiting im not going to risk hitting someone with a ball, So anyway its like hole 5 im halfway through and they are putting im waiting for them to be done before I land in the green, They finish and walk to hole 6 im about to shoot off and he drives his cart right up to me and says the gap between me and them is to big and I need to hurry up. Im sorry if im not comfortable shooting my ball…

I was finally able to enjoy a round of golf here and it certainly lived up to the hype. A great course in the North Saskatchewan River Valley. Beautiful layout, lots of great views and all the staff very extremely welcoming and friendly! The food was very good. If you're looking to get out for a nice round or host a tourney, I'd definitely recommend this place!

First time there, after visiting a craft show. Nice place to have afternoon coffee and snacks. Beautiful view of the golf course on the patio. The club house and the dry ribs were good. Will go back there in the summer.

Played: 03-Jul-2020 The Devon Golf Course is one of the best conditioned courses we have played this year. We had more rain the past view days and were pleasantly surprised that it was fairly dry with only a few wet or muddy areas. This course is always fun to play and is lady friendly as it is not a long course with lots of birdie opportunities if you are hitting it straight. The tee-boxes and fairways are lush and the ball sits up nicely, the rough was thick and juicy but not unplayable. The greens are in excellent condition, soft and receptive which is always good on greens that are so smal…

The restaurant doesn't seem to be listed here but the review is for the restaurant. First time here - and already got the wrong burger after the server recommended me another one. The one I got was also burned and shouldn't have left the kitchen. The server was very apologetic and offered to make a fresh one. I was under the impression the cost of the meal would be taken care of as the server said, but the manager only allowed her(over the phone) to discount upgrade from fries to a poutine. So I paid full price for a burnt wrong burger that I haven't finished and having a cold burger later at…

June 26 2023 played Devon with the K97 Fairways to Heaven. Most times it turns out to be a long round. Today just 4 hr 10 min. We didn’t wait or were pushed on any hole. The course is in such good shape that I would recommend it to anyone. Don’t let the short length fool you it is challenging with a lot of tight fairways and small greens. I will play there again this summer. Played today Sept 18. Greens were punched but still putt able. Fairways were great. One of the best short courses in the area. Tight fairways and small greens make it a fun test. Easy walk and they have a great 2 for 1 sp…

Fun course in great shape, good greens, friendly staff. It is very tight, need to be able to keep the ball in the fairway. Greens were in good shape. Minus 0.5 stars for bunkers... Unfortunately I ended up in three of them. Two of them could use more sand. Looking forward to another round there soon!

A shorter course in the river valley that plays harder than it appears. Lots of trees and areas to lose balls. The par 3's from the blacks are what can get you here on this course. Ambiance is pretty chill and it isn't stuffy whatsoever. Also, the restaurant is actually really solid. The mushroom burger is awesome. Lots of juniors on this course as well which I love to see and 95% of them are awesome.

Course is in good shape and fairly challenging. Nice layout. Club house is a great spot for food and drinks after a round and they even make Amaretto Sours! Refreshing on a hot day!
