In summary

The Golf Club at Equinox is praised for its beautifully maintained course, scenic views, and challenging greens, with many visitors appreciating the friendly and attentive staff. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the high pricing relative to the service and amenities provided, noting issues with pace of play, clubhouse service, and the condition of certain facilities. Despite these criticisms, the course's picturesque setting and unique features leave a lasting impression on many who play there.

I would not visit here. Every room has this banging noise that will wake you up at night. The spa is horribly maintained. The sauna in the men’s locker room is disgusting. The heater in the room will turn on for 20 mins, then switch to ac for 20 mins. Constantly changing the room from hot to cold. My shower was clogged. This is the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Really fun course w incredible views. The greens are challenging, relatively small, w tiers and ridges on most holes. Played solo and came up on some guys getting in 9 before Thursday evening summer league; they asked me to join and couldn’t have been nicer (thanks Pete!).

I have been playing this course for the last 1 years when I visit. It is a great course with incredible views. It has some challenging holes and neat features like a bell you ring when you are exiting a fairway on a downhill par four. You won't forget this course when you play it and you will want to play it again when you come back. It is worth the price they charge.

The course itself is alright, incredible views on back 9, but really not worth it given the price. They charge a RIDICULOUS rate for even just 9 holes, walking with no cart, and the service in the clubhouse is not good at all. Come here if you want to wait over an hour for a buffalo chicken wrap and be late to your scheduled tee-time, despite getting there over an hour before. The place could use a bit more professionalism as a whole, especially from the wait staff in the clubhouse grill. If you want to charge those rates, you just have to provide service that makes it worth the price you pay.…

Do NOT plan an event here. We called 4 months ahead saying we needed 3 tee times for 3 groups of 4 for a tournament we were playing. We also went to the other top course in VT where we had no issues. This was by far the worst experience I have had golfing this year. I am a 10 handicap, so I am not a beginner and understand about keeping pace of play. It started out nice with the people in the club house being very welcoming. But then strange things start happening. They put a pair behind us. The pair complains. The ranger comes to us and tells us to speed up, but we are waiting on every hole o…

This past Saturday was the last time I'll play Equinox. I travel with 3 close friends every year to VT for a weekend of golf at various courses. Equinox has always been on the list, but no longer. The staff that greeted and checked us in were pleasant. We were told no outside beverages due to state law, but that there was a beverage cart on the course. OK, fine. She came by on the 3rd hole, took one of my guests credit cards and we never saw her again. It was hot and humid with no water on the course. Then as we came up to the 9th tee box, the ranger was there waiting for us telling us there w…

Very nice track. Overall condition of the course was awesome considering the weather for the past month. Greens were fair and quick. Putts above the hole mean trouble! Greens fees are reasonable. Would return to play again.

Very disappointing experience. My son and I were excited to play Equinox, but this ended up being one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in 35+ years of golf. We booked two 18-hole rounds with a cart through GolfNow. After three holes, a storm rolled in and play was suspended. Totally understandable. I came back the next morning to get a rain check, only to be met by an assistant pro who was rude, dismissive, and kept interrupting me. Even after I showed proof of what I booked, he said “I hate GolfNow” and refused to honor the reservation. No apology—just attitude. Eventually, he off…

The course was in good shape but I dont think its worth anywhere near what they charge. 160 for a round with a cart. Carts have no GPS there is no driving range to warm up the club house was out dated and had one old bathroom plus the food was very expensive and the course its self left something to be desired. The condition was good but the course it self was quite borning. I think 12 out of 18 holes were 350-370 yard par 4s with an elevated tee box. Seemed to be a copy and paste. At the end of the day I've played courses much nicer for literally half the price. Save your money and play else…

Great course, very scenic and the greens were phenomenal. Grounds were under maintenance and repair but still playable. Slightly over priced.
