A golf round at the Hermitage Golf Club is impossible to describe with any accuracy at all. It's something you have to experience for yourself to truly understand what the best possible experience in golf is all about. The incredible staff, the well manicured property, the incredibly scenic vistas and the fantastic greens all contribute to making this one of the most desirable golfing venues anywhere in the whole northeast. The well over 100 members of the Safari Club that played this course on the 21st of June all feel very privileged to have been part of this being our inaugural experience t…

Yes, it was a #10 day and we gave up the day and drove 1 1/2 hours to play with our Safari Golf Club, but even on an overcast gloomy day, this course shines. Staff are welcoming and friendly, nice quiet electric carts (so as not to spoil the signs of nature all around!), and the course was spectacular. Fairways as beautiful as the greens (fast but fun). We will definitely be back, and will bring friends.

Played this last week with the Safari Club. Spectacular! Tough to find, but well worth it. Course was in great conditions throughout. Very challenging, and the views on some of the holes were amazing! Staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating from the time we drove into the parking lot until our round was finished. Clubhouse had excellent panoramic views of the surrounding area. Well worth the drive and looking forward to returning next year.

Played 18 October 5, and it was simply stunning. Very friendly valet, starter was great, the price was right and the cool clean air and fall color made it about my most enjoyable round of golf ever. I didn't play too well but didn't care. The course is immaculate! Recommended for golfers visiting southern Vermont! Oct 3.....It seems this course has gone belly up. Phone disconnected, website taken down....sad.

The grounds crew does a fantastic job of keeping both courses in great playing shape! Real grass driving range, the comfiest golf cart seats this side of the Mississippi… this course is tied for my favorite course in the Nashville area!

Couldn't ask for a more beautiful course surrounded by classic Vermont mountains and green forested hills. Immaculately groomed, the fairways and greens are in great shape and challenging. Played with the Safari Club and they welcomed us graciously. Only lost two balls! martha

I played golf with the Safari club this past week at the Hermitage Golf club and found it to be in superb condition and had great food. The course was in great condition including the fairways and greens. I will be back there soon.

Played generals reserve and course was in awful shape. Multiple sections of tee box, fairways, and greens were dead. Layout was interesting but when the greens can’t hold a straight putt, it kind of kills the experience.
