In summary

Stamford Valley Golf Course is often praised for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-maintained 9-hole layout nestled in a picturesque setting. Many visitors appreciate the sense of community and enjoy participating in leagues and events. However, some guests have reported issues with communication regarding course closures and have experienced dissatisfaction with customer service, particularly concerning the handling of pace of play and interactions with younger golfers.

I cannot say enough great things about this business. From the owners all the way down to the greens crew, I am always met with extreme kindness and generosity. In addition to the warm welcoming atmosphere, I always leave wishing that I had played another round! So much so, that after a couple years of golfing here intermittently, I am now a proud first year member AND player in their Sunday morning golf league. If Google allowed me to leave a review higher than 5 stars I absolutely would! All around just a great place to be and it will not disappoint. I highly recommend the course to any and…

I booked a tee time, showed up on time, clubs in hand — only to find out the course was completely shut down for a tournament. No call, no email, no notice. Just a shrug and a “you can’t play today.” That level of incompetence is impressive. Not only did they fail to communicate something as basic as a course closure, but the staff couldn’t even be bothered to offer an apology or any attempt to make it right. It’s the kind of lazy, dismissive attitude that tells you everything you need to know about how little they value their customers. Plenty of other courses actually respect their players…

I love this course! I just moved to the area about three years ago and everyone at this course has been so welcoming and friendly! The course has a fun layout with well maintained greens. I recently hosted my partners birthday party here and the staff went above and beyond to make our event special. Highly recommend!

Golfed this course for many years now and have nothing but good things to say. Great place to go for golfers of any experience. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this course for a single golfer, a group of friends, or family. Always a great time.

I’ve been golfing at Stamford Valley for two seasons now as part of the Friday night ladies league, and every week is something I look forward to. The course is beautiful, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the owners and staff are truly some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a good experience. If you’re looking for a course with good people, good energy, and a true sense of community, this is the place. I can’t say enough good things about Stamford Valley it’s become one of my favorite places to be.

Stamford Valley is a fun and enjoyable 9-hole track that never disappoints. The course is always in good shape and makes for a great casual round, whether you’re working on your game or just out for some fresh air and a few laughs. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff — the owners and everyone who works here are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely love the game. It’s that kind of atmosphere that keeps you coming back. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to play 9, I definitely recommend stopping by. It’s one of those hidden gems that makes golf feel like it…

This beautiful 9-hole course is nestled in a valley of the Vermont Green Mountains and is a rare find as it has been passed down through three generations and is STILL family-owned and operated. It was once a farm, and it still retains that small hometown family feeling when you play. The clubhouse is beautiful and the owners are a joy to visit with ! They are certainly proud of their course and should be. 5 stars all day long!!

This was my last time my group will ever play there .1st 9 holes with cart advertised at 29.68., we paid 35.00 second the owner was very miserable when we got there complained about us playing slow all the time and tried to tell her it's our second time there this year and we never held anyone up. The greens needed plenty of work r tee boxs we horrible , we will be playing other courses from now on adams is 100 dollars for 9 holes 2 carts 4 players and the bartender was sooo nice. Too bad it really went downhill after playing there for almost twenty years

If I could post a rating of 0 stars I absolutely would. This place is an utter embarrassment to the sport of golf. About everyone in this place of business was either egotistical, sarcastic, or for some reason thought they were above the customers (this is NOT how you create a return customer). It’s pretty apparent that if you want to bring your younger ones along for a day of golf that you’ll be harassed to hurry up and golf 9 holes in 1.5 hours max or that you must leave. This place is a money grab with horrible staff and customer service if I’ve ever seen one. My phone prompted me to write…

I’ve been coming here for the past two years and never had a problem we came with a group of 10 and had different tee times which we were aware of by the time we got to the third hole we were told that we didn’t know how to golf and we need to learn golfers etiquette by the seventh hole We were told that we needed to leave with The most attitude from the owners, even though we were not doing anything wrong and we were in a group four the whole time. We were also told that we were wasting their money even though our group paid almost $400. And on top of that stated they had called the cops. For…

If you’re under the age of 30 this place is not worth your time. The blatant disrespect and harassment based off of our age and our unfamiliarity with this golf course is astounding. Me, and a group of friends showed up on a Friday with our clubs, rented a cart, and went out to the greens for our previously set time allotment. The staff disregarded, (or didn’t care?) enough to mention the fact that there was a women’s league attending at a similar time so we would have to hurry (this was mentioned as we were walking out the door after paying). No problem with us as we’re unfamiliar with the co…

If you want to find a place to waste money golf here. Golf with a bunch of buddies. Some which was there first time. Had the owners follow us the whole course then at the 8th they kicked us out. We did what we were told to do we were respectful until it came time when I asked the owner is there a “certain way to golf” she told me if your a horrible golfer then you shouldn’t be golfing. Out group together paid 500 dollars and for them to tell us we are wasting there money is funny to me. NEVER GOLFING HERE AGIAN
