This place is amazing!! They have all the amenities you can imagine. The staff are friendly to the max going out of their way to ensure your comfort and satiafaction are met. They are true servants leaders!! The place is kept perfectly clean and they are happy to help with any and all issues you may have. The front gate staff was even kind enough to allow me to use their bathroom before I had an accident in my car. Thank you for giving me tips on how to get my EV charged up and where I can find near by EV chargers before I bricked my car on the side of the road.

I have been a member for a few years and probably wouldn’t recommend the club. The course is okay but the management is very slow and unresponsive. They are owned by Kemper management with little accountability to the membership. Very difficult to simply get emails or phone calls returned.

I had a delivery to a resident there and the security folks wanted to keep my id while on their property which is illegal. I'm sure it's a nice place to live but they're very rude to service people. Will not come back.

Giving it 5 stars, but considering the houses and the neighborhood was expecting more. The range needs some work. The course was pretty basic, but makes you use all clubs in the bag. The greens were pure and quick. The rough was penalizing. Overall, it was fairly forgiving off the tee. The greens were very firm, anything past the hole had no chance. Solid clubhouse and bar.

Beautiful course, with a great staff. Well kept greens along with fairways. Not alot of tall grass to worry about.

Played the course last weekend, Enjoyed the round overall though much of the course had large strips of turf peeled up for repair. Greens were fast as lightning as to be expected on dormant bermuda. Ate in the grill afterwords and both the food and the service were good.

We have belonged to Governors Club for three years. Cart Path Only is the rule, not the exception, even 2 - 3 days after a rain event. If the Grounds Superintendent is correct in his analysis of when the fairways can be driven on, then Governors Club must have some serious drainage issues. The staff in the Pro Shop looks very nice standing behind the counter all day. They don't respond to messages or texts and never marshal the course unless they are contacted by phone of a problem. My expectation at Governors Club is very low and it still doesn't cease to annoy and disappoint me.

The course is very well maintained, the fairways in particular are borderline tour grade. Greens are fast and fair. Most of the members are kind and friendly, as is the staff. Haven't had anything bad to eat in the clubhouse and they have an excellent liquor selection. The pool is very nice and always clean.

A little bit of heaven on earth. Kids playing, people walking and jogging, in a safe and private place. Surprisingly diverse, seems to have a broad appeal. Lots of touches that show a big commitment to quality. I particularly enjoy the dry stack stone walls. So different from the "too much wall, not enough stone" that's so common these days. Our kids love the pools, even with our own to enjoy. I love that my family is secure when I am out; the reality as well as the feeling of safety, with friendly neighbors and security guards keeping an eye out. If only I were a golfer, I am sure I would lov…
