Always a fun day at Cheekwood. The course has a great mix of holes. Some short par 3s and some par 4 with narrow fairways. Really beautiful as well. I enjoy this course whenever I get out to Franklin, Tn.

This course has the potential to be one of the best in the areas. Incredible location, overall course layout is nice, but it's clear ownership has not reinvested or even properly maintained it. They have gotten away by having such a good location and always having tee times as overflow from other, better quality, courses nearby. Tee boxes look like my backyard. Greens are bumpy and poorly maintained. Bunkers just look like an abandoned sand box. This should be a $25 green fee for 18 at max. Plus this is the land of 30+ handicaps. A friend of I played 9 yesterday and had 2 instances where a…

Out of towner here. A friend and I walked 9 here and were disappointed with the greens. The fee was 30 bucks to walk 9 holes (riding was same price) which was pretty steep given the shape of the greens. All 3 pictures attached were of the greens this week. Putts would jump and not stay on a line. We probably won't be back given how expensive it is for what you get.

While it is not Augusta by any means, this quaint 9-hole course is the perfect place to enjoy a morning or afternoon with friends and loved ones, while getting an opportunity to work on your game. Many talk about the price being overbearing, but let's face it: courses take a lot of money to maintain. I would argue the price is very fair, especially when you compare it to other nearby public courses. Cheekwood is a lovely place with wonderful employees who will always try to leave a smile on your face.

Good 9 holes at reasonable price. Carts, ball washers with soap and towel plus a garbage container, yardage markers in fairway, and Golf shop friendly and well stocked too.

Good golf course to practice. Very forgiving and open layout. Good par 5s and par 4s where you can use your driver. Very fun course and easy to do 9 holes in 1 1/2 hours.

Has potential but not worth the current cost at all. Pace of play was miserable.

We enjoy the course but $38 for 9 holes is too much for the condition. I get it's Franklin but you can play Harpeth Hills for $25 in amazing condition. Most of these reviews say the same thing. Please consider adjusting price for the condition.

Had the most disappointing experience here yesterday. I went with 2 girlfriends and it was $98 for the three of us to play a very unkept 9 hole course. Adding on top of that 2 club rentals, balls and tees (about $200 total - which if you are familiar with this course that's insanity to begin with) Our tee time was late afternoon and there was barely anyone on the course, so we figured it would be fine to all 3 be in one cart and share clubs. Plenty of staff saw us heading out in our cart and didn't stop us. When we were almost done with HOLE FOUR, the manager drives up on his cart, gets out, a…

This golf course is terrible! 1/5 review, the employees are terrible and the course is even worse, it cost 50 dollars for 18 holes but you might as well go someplace else. One of the employees got in my face for accidentally driving on the grass and he took my key to the golf cart! He cussed me out infront of my child and made him cry! 1/5 review WILL NOT BE GOLFING AT THIS GOLF COURSE EVER AGAIN!

As a regular, I am tired of dealing with the guy at check in outside before the first tee box. He is always passive aggressive and for 70 bucks you may as well make that an automated system and save your selves the wasted hourly wage on him. I have tried to play along but even my clients commented on how disappointing the experience was for them. (I played yesterday) Whoever oversees him let me know if I can help with details over the last two years dealing with someone as inpatient and incompetent as him. I haven’t even bothered to learn his name but this is not the first time I’ve had an unp…

Local Franklin resident and worldwide golfer. This is a great course to work on your game and enjoy nice scenery close to downtown Franklin. The fairways and greens are not championship quality but it is still fun and a great place to play for fun and work on your game. Alec gives some great lessons and golf tips.
