In summary

The Ledges Golf Club is praised for its challenging yet fair course layout, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff. Many appreciate the fast greens and the overall enjoyable golfing experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the maintenance of tee boxes and fairways, as well as the high green fees, suggesting that the course conditions do not always justify the cost.

Looking for a round while visiting the area this came up as a good choice and I'd agree with the recommendation. Welcoming staff in a lovely area. Decent range: mat currently but grass in drier weather it seems. Couse is interesting, with plenty of elevation changes and turns of varying degrees during holes. The greens are quick...beware landing in the wrong area as this can be very costly! If you are sensible you can score decently as the course isn't tricked up at all. Course is in decent shape. Fairways good in most places although just been punched. Tee boxes could use some work as ment…

Ledges is a challenging but fair course with beautiful scenery in great location. The staff are all very friendly and the “regulars” are a group of serious, talented but fun golfers!! The rangers keep the golfers moving even during the busy summer season. The fairways are wide enough to land your tee shot but definitely make you pick your spots. This course will make you a better golfer and as a beginner I have been able to play it with choosing my layup areas carefully then gradually working on clearing the hazards. This is definitely one of the best “real” courses around the seacoast and doe…

I played the Ledges a number of years ago while on a vacation throughout New England. It was in nice shape and I found it challenged my game but was quite enjoyable.

I had a wonderful experience playing with friends at the Ledges Golf Club. From the warm welcome, to the range, and playing a wonderful layout! As a PGA professional over twenty-five years playing many courses over New England, this is one of my new favorites! Thank you Eric for all your insight and direction. Highly recommend! Great little course about 15 minutes from short sands beach. The only reason I could not give it five stars is that the tee boxes were in such bad shape. The fairways were in better shape, but the greens were in best shape. The carts are not bad, my first one had a wasp nest in the steering wheel. Had to get a new one. It has rain a couple of days before, so cart path only. Overall, the course is in good shape, the course is challenging, but open fairways, the greens are great for putting. I will definitely go back. Looking forward to my next visit.

I remember when this was a top-tier course., maybe 10 years ago. Tee boxes don't look like they've been addressed since then. I understand Midsummer burnout spots, but the rough was mowed very inconsistently. Greens were very nice. Staff was very friendly.

Staff were very friendly and pace of play was decent! Fairways are in nice shape but greens and tee boxes are terrible! Grass was overgrown on tee boxes like playing from the rough. Greens were fast but no one repairs divots here apparently! Love the views and layout but crew need to work harder I guess!

This was a super fun and hard course! We were newbies but played with two others who were familiar with the course. We had a great time! The greens were particularly fast and according to our group, the hot summer had brought some brown patches to the greens. Definetly worth playing and seeing!

This was NOT! worth the $107.00 after 3PM in the afternoon. We were paired with 2 walkers after we were already told by the Ranger that we were good to go, he made us start over. at the turn the ranger questioned us about slow play with the walkers. the grounds were very under groomed, fairway rough was more like tall grass that you could loose your ball in, the greens were in pretty tough shape, benches had weeds so tall you couldn't sit, no towels on the ball wash stations. lack of water stations. We were very disappointed with the whole experience. I used to be an absolute beautiful place.…

Great challenging course but the maintenance has slipped. Still it is a fun track.

My favorite public course in the region. Varied and interesting holes from start to finish, and each hole is secluded and part of nature since there are no homes or any development in sight at any point. Greens are as tough and pristine as any public course I've ever played. Pace of play is better than most others around since the challenge here is higher than the others and self selects for better golfers, and the daily rate is a little high but worth it. It's a tough but doable walk and my preferred way to play here. Great for 9 holes, as the 9th and 18th bring you back to the clubhouse. Ski…

Golf course is in horrible shape. Grounds crew our kids driving around in golf carts. You better bring plenty of bug spray. I have never ever seen so many mosquitoes in my life. Not worth the out-of-state $100 green fees.
