Pease Golf Course

A tough pill to swallow when you pay full price for the blue course, only to find that multiple tee boxes look like the Himalayan mountains, and the green on six looks like footage of the moon from the recent Artemis II space mission (no attempt to fix any divots). It would be nice to know- maybe via email communication, or when you go in to pay for the round that there is some work in progress (or offer a discount due to condition of this place). But that is asking way too much of this golf course.

Having been stationed at Pease Air Force Base from 1983-1985, and having played the course several times, I was excited to return. I have to say that I did not remember or recognize much of the course. They have removed a lot of trees and dried up the swampy area, by the looks. The course was in excellent shape and forgiving. It felt like it played short from the white tees. I say this because my drives were not always good but I was almost always able to hit my approach shots on or near the green... in a good solid rain. Nice course. Really good shape. Easily walkable. Only complaint would be the layout isn’t that interesting. A lot of the holes feel the same. Food at the restaurant afterwards was really good.

Great course we played the 9 hole Blue course and if was fun amd challenging! Also got to see an Antonov An-124 take off!

Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH is a wonderful public golf facility that offers an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. My wife and I just finished a 4-week series of group golf lessons for beginners. This was a mixed men's and women's class. It was an outstanding experience, start to finish. I had never swung a golf club before (if you don't count mini golf), so I had a lot to learn. Tim and Michael are experienced teachers and coaches. They do a terrific job of keeping things simple, fluid, and, most of all, fun! Everyone gets a little individualized attention. You walk away feeling like you've got the basics. Played here yesterday for the first time with one of my customers and it was GREAT! I will definitely play here again. For a public course, the fees were very reasonable, especially due to the fact we caught the monthly Special Rate Day. Greens we fast & challenging, fairways were terrific. Some of the tee boxes could use some TLC, but again, this would not discourage me in any way of returning. Oh, and the staff were very friendly & amiable. Keep up the good work!

Booked a tee time on Thursday morning asking for tomorrow (Friday) some older woman said I was all set. Showed up Friday and they booked it for the following Friday. Had people drive over an hour in traffic to get here on a perfect Friday evening. Got absolutely screwed. Put more competent people in charge of scheduling please.

Dire need of an upgrade to the driving range and tee boxes. I play dozens of rounds here a year but I think I’m finally gonna make more of an effort to shop around.

Greens are well manicured, fairways are very nice. As a whole, course is a little congested. First time I played there I had a hard time telling the holes apart. They wash down the carts after each use.

Beautiful day. Both the fairways and the greens were in top notch shape. Played 18 starting mid morning. Only a light crowd. The round took the four of us about 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Course was very well maintained, carts were brand new with screens on them and everything, we had a issue with our tee time not being scheduled online when we got there they fit us in anyways overall very nice place and experience
