In summary

Exeter Country Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a fun and challenging experience on its 9-hole course. The staff is often praised for their friendliness, and the on-site bar and restaurant add to the positive experience with good food and drinks. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service and discrepancies in pricing, and the pace of play can be slow due to the limited number of holes.

Nice local course. I don’t play but my boys did. I sat and had a beer. Boys liked the course. I didn’t eat hear as not really my style with grab and go. Staff are really friendly.

The course is in great shape from sprung to fall. The holes are fun to play, and offer a challenge from novice to regular. The bar is warm and inviting, with great drinks and delicious burgers and dog at the turn. Don't miss out.

The course itself was pretty good, but I called a couple days in advance to book a tee time for the Early Bird special and I was told to just show up and play as long as its before 8 so I came before 8 ready to play 18 holes and pay the amount posted on the website but when I got there the person at the desk shut me down and very rudely said that the website must've been wrong and we couldn't play 18 holes and when we asked what the reason was he said "It's a 9 hole course" and yeah I knew that but the courses I've played just had the players do the same 9 two times. Then he said that the tota…

Course is an absolutely horrendous condition. Way over price at $43 for nine holes and a cart.

As much as I feel like I only give five star reviews, I cant give ECC a lower rating honestly. Their prices are great, the course is well maintained and it's just a lovely place to play a round of 9, even a round of 18 if you feel like you're up for a longer range! Despite my poor play, the course was a joy to play on. Look forward to playing another round at ECC

Greens are phenomenal. Fairways are decent. If your not in a rush and have 5-6 hrs to play 18 holes then this is the one for you. Only 9 holes so be prepared to wait at every hole. Some holes had 2-3 groups on it. Hard to get into a rhythm when you have to wait constantly. If your gonna play here use Groupon and Save yourself some money.

Great old school layout with so many blind shots I’ve never experienced in a 9 hole golf course and conditions wise even those it was very wet, was better than average. Having said that, the pro in the golf shop wasn’t overly professional because of a Groupon I had that expired, and all I was wondering when I called was if I could break the value up to play multiple times. His attitude was pretty bad to make a long story short, so needless to stay I probably won’t be going back

Beautiful course, well maintained. Forgiving enough for beginners.

Exeter CC is a great place to play with just enough challenge that you cannot let your guard down. I love the greens because they are faster than most area clubs and not a flat one there. Only minus would be the length, 2900plus yds. It's a great old club with a lot of character. I am now a regular on Tuesdays. P.s. Great walking with some up hill holes like the nineth which is a real good test to see if your face or draw works. Enjoy, we do.

Awesome course! Great rates! Fairways in good shape but the greens are in awesome shape! Played my best round of the year.

A big thanks to the staff who did a great job helping everyone involved at my grandfathers 90th birthday. The Food was cooked to perfection and it had a great overall atmosphere inside.
