In summary

The Links at Cotton Valley is highly praised for its well-maintained course, scenic layout, and friendly staff, offering excellent value for the price. Golfers appreciate the challenging yet fair design, with wide fairways and smooth greens, as well as the unique back nine layout. While many enjoy the overall experience, some have noted issues with tee box conditions and occasional scheduling conflicts due to tournaments.

A links course with elevation and water! Read the reviews and expected a flat course with man made undulations. Pleasantly surprised by layout! Even from senior tees the course played long. Fairways were wide and forgiving. The greens rolled much faster then expected. Unbelievable value! Definitely worth drive.

The golf course is long, but fair. It was in really good condition tee to green. Wide fairways & huge greens. 3- par 3's & 3- par 5's on the back. Some of the greens have a lot of break in them. Fun place to play. Can't wait to return. Oh & the green fee is a steal.Played again on 8/15/24 after Debby came through . In great condition & very green. Played very long from the white tees, but still a lot of fun. If you like to grip it & rip it,this is your kind of place. These are photos from holes 13 & 17 tees. Both are beast par 5's.

Nice course but they didn’t advertise a tournament going on when we booked a tee time. There were way too many tee times available if they were having a tournament. Should’ve cut them off two hours before. No carts available when we came for our tee time because all the people playing in the tournament (tournament wasn’t for another hour) took all the carts. The staff worked with us to get us playing but it just kind of soured my game. Also, the bathrooms weren’t open. Maybe I’ll play here again but I’ll call next time to make sure there isn’t a tournament. Fun bonus to our game too: People a…

I had a great day, started with the young lady at check in, she was a very nice and helpful Superstar. The Starter was a really nice guy, I was a single and first time at the course, he got me taken care of, paired up with a couple of young Marines(cool for me since I'm an old Navy Doc) and off in the right direction. The course was well taken care of with a cool layout, some really interesting holes. It was a hot day, but the water buckets were all filled up with cold High Quality H2O. Great place and truly is a hidden Gem in Carolina, especially for the price Thanks for a great day on The Li…

Played a couple of rounds there. Love the greens! Links golf is wide open also! I wish the tee boxes had shorter grass though. Too long for a tee box on most holes. Also, yardage markings are not distinct on all holes to help players that don't use the range finders. Overall, still a good course to play in the area.

Hidden Gem! Absolutely amazing deal membership-wise ($300 for two years). Really enjoy the back nine and it's unique three par 3 and three par 5. Pitcheresque par 3 #12 and #18, you can let it rip on the elevated tee box on the par 5 hole #13. Has a driving and chipping range along with a putting green.

All in all for March ENC golf cold breezy day. 5star for potential. Nice layout. Greens are smooth. Back to back par 5s on front and 3 par 5s on the back. Tough finishing 3 holes which includes a par 5 636 yard #17.

Course was in great shape with friendly staff. The clubhouse burned down so there is a temporary Pro Shop to sign in.

Good test for average golfers. Tee boxes are a little over height due to keep from killing grass. Overall Good course
