In summary

Farmville Country Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, enjoyable golf course layout, and suitability for events like weddings and family gatherings. The course is noted for its challenging design with small, undulating greens, and is generally well-maintained, although some visitors have reported issues with course conditions and communication about weather impacts. While many enjoy the facilities and atmosphere, some feel the membership fees are high and have noted concerns about the lack of junior membership options.

Played a Saturday morning round. Folks were friendly and accommodating. Good old school design. Course was in really good shape for early November. Looking forward to playing again.

I love to play FGCC, but I always seem to have a problem with something. I give the golf course 4 stars but everything else 1 star. I drive about an hour to get there. I called yesterday the morning of and asked if they got much rain the day/night before. The guy that answered the phone said about an inch and there was some water on the course at the low points, but should dry up soon. I decided to play and drove out. I got there and there was standing water on the course on more than the low areas. I talked to the guy at the desk and he said it rained pretty good last night about 2 inches. I…

I feel like this course is a solid 3 stars. The condition is adequate, but not the best. The layout would be challenging even in ideal conditions. Don't expect to hit many greens in regulation because they are very small, and when you do get on there this is plenty of undulation to contend with. This course is a good exercise in restraint, because the driver can get you in trouble quickly on many holes. I had an overall unenjoyable day, but the course had little to do with that.

10/27/20 I am senior player. From the gold tees the course is challenging but fun. Small greens with lot of undulations. Some holes I would be 20 ft from hole and not on green. Placement of tee shots is important because of trees around fairways. You could be in fairway but not clear shot to green. I will be going back to play.

I truly enjoyed the day sharing love, entertainment and food with the Jordan family in there Family ReUnion. The building was very very elegant for decorating with plenty of space to have an occasion. There is plenty of parking spaces available also.

$90/month with NO junior membership (20-30 years old). I could maybe justify paying $40/month but $90 is beyond out of the question. I would of thought a course like FCC would be trying to make as much as possible being I saw only 4 cars in the parking lot at lunch time. Not junior golf friendly.
