In summary

The Links at Hiawatha Landing is appreciated for its beautiful links-style layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among many golfers. However, some visitors have noted issues such as rough cart paths, inconsistent bunker conditions, and a lack of on-course amenities like cart service, which can detract from the overall experience. Additionally, slow pace of play and discrepancies in pricing have been mentioned as areas for improvement.

Whom ever has rated this course in the top 25 public courses in New York State needs a reality check. I’ll provide the good and bad from this visit. Reader; keep in mind as I write this review, I just spent the entire weekend in Binghamton playing three different courses. En-Joie (18 holes) on Friday, Conklin Players Club Saturday (36 holes) and Hiawatha (18 holes) on Sunday. The good: This is a beautiful designed links style course. Beautiful views with undulating fairways and greens. The fairways were maintained well and the green speed and firmness were perfect. The greens, fairways and de…

Challenging yet beautiful course. Greens were lightning fast. Very nice layout if you like playing links course. We enjoyed the round but: No cart people on course. It was the weekend when you have the best opportunity to win new customers and satisfy their hunger and thirst. Big nothing. Those cart paths.....some are really in tough condition. Course marshal to insure pace of play equal 4 hours. That didn't happen. Nice course with limited amenities.

Tough course for average golfer, but it was on great shape, and staff was great. We were there for a tournament it was very well run. We had a great time

Been playing here for 25 years. Generally speaking 2-3 time a summer. Somewhere along the line what was once a top course in the area has aged poorly and the price has continued to soar After seeing the reviews here, I see the same excuse is used a lot that I was told when I forged my complaint. “Heavy rains destroyed the bunkers” and “the dicks qualifier was here recently and the pros didn’t complain” First off the weather has been perfect this last 5-6 weeks for golf courses. There was rain early in the season. We played a late morning round and it was clear the fairway and green side bunk…

Absolutely beautiful course to golf at. Very long though!! I'm new to golf and attended my first tournament. It was wonderful but exhausting for me. I have no complaints. They catered the event and I have to say the food was on point!! Filet was cooked perfectly and the chicken Alfredo was delicious. Was a buffet style dinner and still everything was great!!

3 stars only for the fact they have in my opinion the worst cart paths of any course in the area so extremely bumpy. And on a day when it's cart path only play, better make sure your dental insurance is up to date and fillings are all intact cause you get tossed around pretty good. Other than the cart paths the course is top notch. Staff is great and facilities are really good. They did invest in new carts leather seats very comfy. Kinda makes up for the horrible cart paths.

Very nice track. Layout is great and the condition is better than most considering the dry summer.

5.5 hours to play on not a busy day. Course did not have a ranger which allowed a few groups to ruin the day for everyone else. Bunkers are also in terrible condition.

Very Nice Course, was in good shape especially considering all the rain there has been recently. Staff were great, got me on the course on time eventhough there was a scheduling error in the online system. Will definitely be back with the rest of my group to play again when the course is a bit drier.

A solid golf course. Pros: The layout is great and fun to play. The greens were smooth and had a good speed to them. The course is reasonably priced. Cons: Most of the bunkers are down to just dirt with a little sand. The cart paths are very rough. Service is very slow at the snack bar. I would still rate the course an 8 out of 10.
