In summary

Tioga Country Club is appreciated for its beautiful scenery, challenging layout with elevation changes, and well-maintained greens. Booked a tee time, drove 90 mins, course closed! Called the day before, SPECIFICALLY asked about the weather to make sure all would be good. Girl on the phone was super helpful and pleasant….we drive down the next day and when we walk in the fella said the club pro decided to go home early and close the course. No notice…We won’t be back…. He apparently melts if it’s damp out. Decided to Google another nearby 18 hole (Owego) 8 mins away and had an amazing experience… will definitely be back to that one!!

We really liked the course. Beautiful views. Challenging layout and elevations. Nice clubhouse. Downside was the tees were messy. Lots of cigarette butts etc. Also swarmed by bees at times. Better maintenance will fix those fast. We will be back!

Greens were great, fairways were really good, electric carts were wonderful. The sandtraps need work. For the price, an excellent value.

Fun course, lots of variety with elevation change and great views. Electric carts are the best I've ever used. Clubhouse is brand new and top notch. Will visit again for sure.

Tioga Golf Club was recently acquired by Tioga Downs Casino Resort and will become a popular place to play and stay in the Southern Tier of NY. With a new clubhouse, they are ready to host some big groups and parties.

Very fun course. Comfortable to play. Some holes could use a little more grooming but all in all, can't complain.

Worst experience golfing in a very long time. I grew up playing this course before Tioga Downs took over. I came to play a round with my brother on a Monday expecting the course to be moderately quiet. We were immediately met with disappointment as we waited 15 minutes to be greeted in the pro shop. Once on the course we were sandwiched between a foursome and a very rude and careless solo player. No one allowed any party to play through because every hole was backed up. To mitigate this issue, the course should hire a range officer or make an easy-to-use tee time scheduling system online. Sadl…

Ok pricing. Disappointed by the holes in the low maintained greens, overgrown weeds in sand traps (with complimentary bees!), and patchy fairways. Expected WAY better as tioga downs owns. After the round the bar was open and NO BODY was there!!!! We had to wait 20 mins for then to come from tioga downs, this is pathetic and tigoa downs should be a shamed to associate with this corse.

Course is challenging. Overall maintenance of course is pretty good. Greens are nicely rolled. No practice area and/or driving range is a bummer. Customer service in the Pro Shop is not at the level I would expect. Everything else I could live and be happy with, except for one of the gentleman working the front desk. Hopefully senior management recognizes this soon and make some corrections.

Great golf course! One of the best courses in the area. Came here for a friend’s birthday. Bill was extremely accommodating and an excellent asset to the course. Would recommend to all golfers in the area both high level and casual players.

Our league plays here every Wednesday and we absolutely love every outing. The course is challenging, with several hills, dog-legs, hazards, and tricky pin placement on the greens. The course uses only electric carts that are washed and maintained every night! The ladies and gentlemen in the pro shop and restaurant are exceptionally attentive and provide great service! Highly Recommended Golf Course!
