In summary

The Oaks Country Club of New Albany is appreciated for its enjoyable course and well-maintained fairways and greens, making it a pleasant venue for events like wedding receptions. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the course's ongoing renovations, the limited amenities in the pro shop, and the overall customer service experience. Additionally, the club's high fees, cash-only policy, and lack of online booking options have been points of frustration for some guests.

course has been "under renovation" for almost 2 years. most expensive 9 hole mediocre course Ive ever played in my 15 years of playing. Pro shop had nothing really in it and the old guy running it was obviously annoyed I came in and wanted something to eat. Half the range balls were busted or been hit so much that the printing on them was no longer legible. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS COURSE. On top of that, they wanted a $1000 sign up fee to become a member. Its was VERY evident that they want to keep that course membership to the elite or New Albany "special society".

Played this course a few years ago and was happy with the course. In the area with time to kill and wanted to play again or at least hit range balls. Called the pro shop and a “Don Tudero” answered the phone and was possibly the most rude interaction I’ve ever had with a person representing a golf course. Smart aleck and talks down to you. Personally won’t be giving this course any business. Heads up if anyone reading this wants to play, it’s cash only.

Where to begin. It’s a decent course. It’s only nine holes. It’s way overpriced, especially for being out in the middle of nowhere. The old man at the front desk is a rude elec. They don’t have any way to set teetimes online. They don’t have their rates online on their website. And it’s cash only! Guess the IRS needs to do an audit. So you’re out in the middle of nowhere, hard to find, the GPS takes you to the wrong location, you make it hard to pay, you make it unpleasant to deal with the person you’re paying with, and then you wanna overcharge for the privilege. It’s not hard to build a dece…
