In summary

The Overlook Golf Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, featuring a mix of challenging holes with scenic views and dramatic elevation changes. The staff is noted for being friendly, and the amenities, including a good bar and outdoor patio, enhance the overall experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the pace of play being slow, particularly on busy days, and the difficulty of the course for less experienced golfers.

Definitely Overlooked. This course is equally as good as ButterBrook or Red Tail. Played it for the first time and super impressed. Greens, fairways and tee boxes all in great condition. Lots of dog leg lefts and rights, holes with elevation changes (8th tee shot on the par 3 - wow). Practice facility also good with a nice putting green and chipping green (no driving range). Pace of play was great - but I did play on a Tuesday late morning. Overall strongly recommend.

Parking lot is a little winding on your first arrival, but easily navigated once familiar. Steep hills if walking or carrying, but wonderful views as a result. Greens and Fairways well maintained and watered. Very affordable and enjoyable, includes days for the public.

conditions were excellent all around: greens, fairways, boxes, and rough. the front is more challenging with some elevation changes. back is almost dead flat with a lot of shorter, doglegs. premium on making smart shots; not a super long course and power won’t really bail you out. narrow at times. water everywhere. no forced cart fee on friday, which i really appreciate as a walker. pace a bit slow, but back nine went quicker. it’s a pretty course and i’ll play again at some point.

Pace of play could just be a little bit faster teed off at 10:09 and had to stop the final two holes To make it to school to pick up our children at 3 o’clock fairways are in great shape. Greens are even better. The rough was high tough to finds balls right off the 1st cut with the leaves, but that’s this time of year fall golf.⛳️

We paid for 18 with carts. Teed off at 1:50. The rate of play was very slow. Got through 14 holes before being told by course staff that we had to turn our carts in at 6pm. 4hrs 10min to get through 14 holes. My complaint is that if you’re going to have staff members driving around to end paying customers their rounds, then maybe instead the staff members should drive around making sure everybody is moving along. Slowest round I’ve ever played in my life. And the staff was more concerned about leaving at 6, rather than having customers return. I’ll be never play there again. All set.

Course was a fun layout and greens were in great shape. But dropping it a star because we played 13 holes in 4 hours....the pace was brutally slow and there was nothing done about it. Tee times were packed too tight together

Came in town from GA on business. Very nice course. Fairways and rough were in good shape. Greens rolled smooth. I rented a set of clubs and they were in good shape and good quality. Just played the front 9 but was pleased with what I saw. To be a bogey golfer I was very happy with a 42 on front. Had to take a picture at tee box on #8. 175 yards playing 150 if I remember right

Love the course, but disappointed in how poorly the clientele treats it. The tees were destroyed by missed strokes, the greens were great, except for the numerous untreated divots, and the sand traps were un-raked with footprints and holes. The only feedback that I can give the course management is to please keep the water jugs full, they were pretty much all empty.

My first time playing Overlook, and what a joy it was! The course was absolutely beautiful and the conditions were great even for fall golf. I highly recommend Overlook if you haven't played there yet and if you have you know what I am talking about! Bill Martling

I have been a long-time customer of The Overlook, and most of its offerings are among the best of the public courses in this area. The staff is friendly, the course is well-maintained, and the experience has almost always been good one. There has recently been lots of expensive activity to improve the course like traps with real sand, nice greens, etc. Thanks for that. However, there are some recent changes that are difficult for the majority that plays Overlook. I don't have statistics, but I bet that less than 5% of the players are single-digit handicappers. So, why grow tough rough to incr…

Beautiful course, well kept. Some very challenging holes and the greens are fast. Unfortunately gor stuck behind a very slow foursome, pace of play is a little slow. Didn’t finish 18 in 4 1/2 hours but well worth the green fees

My golfing group enjoyed a beautiful day on the scenic Overlook Golf Course, running along and overlooking the Nashua River. The course presents many unique, yet, challenging holes with dramatic elevation changes and well-placed water hazards. Beverage cart service was greatly appreciated on a hot and steamy summer day!
