In summary

The Ranch Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, challenging course layout, and friendly, professional staff. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained course conditions and the variety of amenities, including a restaurant with good food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have raised concerns about the cost relative to the course's refinement, occasional issues with pin placements, and the presence of children affecting the golfing experience.

Gorgeous view of the golf course and you get what you paid for. You don't have to be members to eat at the restaurant. They have happy hour specials that bring the price for a beer to a reasonable level. Well worth a date night or graduation dinner.

As a homeowner who’s lot backs up to the course, I appreciate the ability to hit some balls any time I want however, the course does need a new groundskeeper. There are some much needed remediation especially on the 3rd and 7th stretches. It’s not in horrible shape but for what they charge non-residents, I couldn’t believe folks were forking over that kinda cash for a course lacking in refinement. Staff is always professional and friendly, and the vibe on the green is good.

Did they turn this into private members only course or something? I used to golf here when it's first built. I witnessed beginning of this course. I moved to MN I came to visit last year trying to get a t time they said members only.

The staff is great. Forgot I was in Missoula for a second. I played a little golf and the kids working there were very respectful and made my family feel special. Thanks for having us.

If I could give it less than one star I would. The club is not for adults that want to golf and have fun. It is overrun with children and the staff runs the show not the members. Anthony in the golf shop was great but the rest of the staff was terrible. I do like the course and it is in pretty good shape but the staff ruins the atmosphere.

I haven't been in a long time, but it was fun to be there during their Montana days. This year they let some of us vendors set up, a nice addition. Big Sky Herbs thanks you!

I'm 55 yrs. old and currently a 7.0 hdcp. While I thought the course was beautiful, very challenging, and in great shape, I can only give it a 4-star rating due the three totally unfair pin placements I encountered during my round. I did not hit the ball well the day I played it, but on three of the greens, the holes were located directly the apexes of ridges or humps...making a 6 foot putt nearly impossible. If it didn't hit the hole, it wasn't stopping. It reminded me of those "superintendent's revenge" events, where the staff DELIBERATELY puts the holes in nearly-impossible spots. That's fu…

Wow, do I ever adore the Ranch Club neighborhood. The explosion of growth in Missoula, has promoted this area into a larger, family friendly community. Be it golf, dining out, working out, swimming in the summertime, it offers so much entertainment right at hand, within walking distance at this point. Friendly and delightful life style. You should check it out.

The Asian, rice noodle chicken dish was good, as was the Goat cheese, pastrami, huckleberry appetizer plate. I say "good" because it was not fabulous, just good. I have Celiac (total gluten intolerance) and they had quite the time trying to fullfil my Gluten Free order. They had to re- adjust the appetizer plate 3 times before it was right; then I asked for Green Tea and the hot water dispenser was not working (or broken), so they had to heat up water in a pan due to the fact they have no Microwave in the restaurant, which we both thought was strange. So our waitress was a little frazelled bec…
