In summary

The Village Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful setting, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, offering a fun and scenic experience. Many visitors appreciate the course's challenging layout and the amenities, including a good restaurant and virtual golf. However, some criticisms include high pricing, rough fairways, and occasional negative interactions with management, which detract from the overall experience for some golfers.

What a beautiful area, gonna say even prettier in the summer☺️ my dad, and I went this after, which turned out to be "The Last Day" of golf. My dad and I had a wonderful, fun time. Can't wait till next summer

Played Nine Holes this AM. One adult and 1 Junior with a cart. $100. Greens are completely non playable. Like just pick up your ball bad. Longer than most fairways should be. To think that 18 holes here would cost $200 for two people ( one being a junior) is unfortunately very sad. I'm not one to complain ever. But this was quite unfortunate.

Horrible staff, yelled at and harassed when we came back to the clubhouse for taking 2:30 hours to golf 9 holes, got accused of drinking alcohol for no reason and we made it clear we weren’t and continued to get accused of drinking alcohol on the course. Course has been getting worse and worse over the years when it comes to the staff and the condition of the course itself entirely. Greens are impossible to putt on they’re so rough and charge prices that should be charged for a country club. Horrible do not bother going here you will waste your money and time.

This course was AMAZING. We travel all over Alberta to visit all sorts of little 9 hole beauties. This one tops the list! Forgiving for the novices and enough challenge for those who need it. The views are spectacular, the greens were in great shape. The fairways were a little rough in some places, but the rest of the course management and play-ability makes up for it! Can't wait to golf here again

Fun. Confusing. Beautiful. Confusing. An interesting experience that we enjoyed but not the most conventional golf course! Holes going in all directions, small greens and unforgiving bush. Enjoy the afternoon and lower your expectations! You'll have a good time.

Great place to golf. Beautiful 9 holes course. A hidden gem for sure. Hidden in valley. Wind is not a factor on this course !! Camping right across the road is great spot as well. All run by The Village Golf Course. Had a great time camping and golfing. Hospitality was second to none. It was mid September when we went and we are sure to return next year.

Good little 9 hole course. Great clubhouse with good food and virtual golf as well. New owner has been excellent and wish them all the luck and look forward to many more rounds here.

Don’t waste your time or money. Decent enough course. If you have a group of people I don’t recommend going here I had 6 people we weren’t allowed to golf together and when we caught up to each other the owner came out and yelled at us and was very rude. Not great management. They had a cart following us “picking up balls” but stayed right behind us the whole time we were there

Beautiful. Challenging with all the water. Just don't get the $5 trail charge, we walked, not driving a cart. An unnecessary charge for sure. I understand for driving a cart but not for walking

Unbelievably fun & scenic course at a very affordable price. If it wasn’t so remote this would be one of the most popular courses in Alberta.
