In summary

Alberta Beach Golf Resort is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, lush green fairways, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking a pleasant experience. The course offers a good layout with challenging par 5s and is considered beginner-friendly, with affordable pricing being a notable advantage. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the enforcement of the dress code, citing inconsistent application and unfriendly customer service, which has led to negative experiences for some.

Our foursome golfs this course twice a week on weekdays all summer long. It is extremely well kept and maintained. I can’t comment on how the play is on weekends however we’ve never been held up or rushed during the week. This is one of the better courses that I have played on northwest of Edmonton. If you want to golf lush, green fairways and greens you won’t be disappointed at this course.

Absolutely ridiculous. My fiancée went golfing and one golfer in the group walked in wearing a polo, but the other three were called out for not having the “proper dress code,” even though they never even entered the clubhouse. The course forced them to buy three $40 polos or they wouldn’t be allowed to play. Out on the course, however, they saw three separate groups wearing plain tee shirts who were allowed to tee off without any issue. The double standard was unbelievable. When they spoke with the manager, she simply said there was nothing she could do, completely useless. Absolute trash. Sa…

The staff was so wonderful!!! Yes, there is a dress code, but if you look it up beforehand it's no shocker. The course was beautiful..very well kept and so green. Had a great time. Everyone we met was so kind!

Absolutely stupid. My brother walks in with a polo'd shirt and the other 3 of us get called in for not having proper dress code when we didn't even go in the clubhouse, so they made us buy 3 $40 polos or we can't golf. Meanwhile on the course, we see 3 separate groups wearing tee shirts and they were allowed to tee off. I find this extremely dumb. I would not recommend this course because of the double standards they hold. Absolute trash. We talked to the manager and said there is nothing she can do what an absolute tool, completely useless. STAY AWAY!!

Well worth the drive from Edmonton. The round, cart and a beer was $62 a person.Weekday mind. The course was clean, quiet and beautiful. Great condition overall. The onnly drawback was no cart service. Beginner friendly with challenging par 5's and lots of par 3 chances. I highly recomend!!!

Decent local course, played a handful of rounds, enjoyed the day. Nice and quiet, one group ahead, good pace. I’m not a rush golfer, so waiting once in a while is part of the experience, like on every course ever built. I’m going this afternoon, nice cool day.

even if it is a public golf course they will send you home if you don't have a collared shirt, i had a beautiful speach about the fact that i was on a "professional" golf course.. unfortunately we were unable to meet tiger woods or get an autograph 🤷‍♀️🫠. marlene should not work at the front desk, her attitude is all but welcoming . we wont support this business

We golf here often but i dont think we will be back, today it was soo slow. We had to wait for 2 groups ahead of us to tee off and it's so hot out. The last 2 holes on the front 9 we waited 20 mins to go. After the 9 I asked to get a credit for the back 9 so we could come back a different day as there were also 2 groups waiting at the hole behind us. They said no. I understand if we were waiting for one group or there was a marshal out to have some groups go ahead of the slow party but there wasn't. I wasnt asking for my money back just a credit so we could resume a different time. Not happey…

ZERO out of 5. Save yourself a trip and go anywhere else. The ladies in the front were incredibly rude. After purchasing our round we came into the clubhouse for lunch and I was attacked by not one but two staff members for inappropriate dress. I was wearing a lululemon athletic top. She said to me “do you think the girls in the PGA wear lulu lemons”?, I responded “Is this a PGA course?” (this course was like a 2/10, we’ve been to way nicer places), and she responded “it is a PGA course”. I find that hard to believe with carts from the 80s LOL If she would’ve asked me nicely, I probably would…

Front desk woman was rude and disrespectful and showed no customer service she right away judge me for the clothes I'm wearing and how I looked. This is total discrimination and the fact she says there is a dress code and there website says nothing about it. She did nothing to try to make it worked and basically kicked me out and says this is a private club which it isn't and once again nothing on the website says its private its public. Very upsetting and mad will definitely not come back again and to everyone else don't come here.

I’d give 0 starts if I could. Having never played here and driven out of town, I was beyond shocked to be turned around and told we had to purchase collared golf shirts in order to play on our tee time. The cheapest ladies golf shirt for sale is more expensive than the round of golf. For context, I am wearing an Adidas - Adicross golf t shirt, while my girlfriend is wearing a one-piece golf dress. Not professional enough for this small town course apparently. Though we have worn the same attire to many nicer courses in the city. Not only were these deemed “unacceptable” by the ladies in the…

This corse is in my opinion is one of the best in the area. In the spring they are ahead of every corse there greens are beautiful and everything is well kept. I golf here every week and am constantly met with gratitude and kindness. The staff are friendly and nice to chat with. Yes some staff are stricter than others on dress code but at the end of the day it is respectful to dress properly and honour the game of golf we all love. And yes the carts are not the best but as you golf you get to learn little tricks like to ease into the throttle and not mat it down right away. Not to mention the…
