Very nice course, although probably my least favorite between this and the two courses at Giants Ridge. The course was in excellent condition and it was easy to see why--I saw probably two dozen greenskeepers out there working on it in my morning round! It's very pretty and generally player-friendly, although there were a few split fairways--including right off the bat on the first hole--that seemed kind of pointless. I also didn't find too many of the holes to be all that interesting, although the par 4 with the Biarritz green and the two par 3s on the front nine were good, as was the short…

I’ve played several of the northern Minnesota resort courses and this one was my favorite. Great layout in excellent condition with a superb pace of play and super friendly staff. Definitely worth the drive and the greens fee is very reasonable for the quality of the course and the experience.

Great course with beautiful landscape. Course was in great shape. Greens were smooth and rolled true. 5 sets of tee boxes which allows everyone to select appropriate length. Carts had GPS with touchscreen to know distances. Clubhouse and amenities are very good. Highly recommend to everyone for a great experience.

Excellent golf course with the openness to grip and rip. Challenging greens. Beautiful lush fairways. Be prepared to walk a bit even with a cart…

One of my favorite courses in Minnesota! Always in great shape, greens are fast, beautiful scenic holes and a great challenge. Everything is very well maintained. Well worth the drive up!

Views, quality, and much to offer! As a local, bar food gets tiring and this place gave my hubby and I much needed beautiful date night. We arrived by boat and even received a golf cart ride up to the restaurant. We were waited on by the amazing waitress Abby (who made great suggestions). Outdoor seating offered, with a beautiful view of the golf course. We were very happy and will return! Highly recommend.

Very beautiful course right behind the casino with gorgeous views from the club house. Very scenic course right off the first tee. Large rock walls, dramatic drops, and water throughout. The fairways and bunkers were well kept, but the greens could use some TLC. I did thoroughly enjoy my round and loved all the holes. Great place to play and would definalty reccomend it.

Awesome golf course! So many holes that could be considered the signature hole. Fairways were plush and green as can be. Greens were smooth and pretty flawless. Employees were very friendly and personable. I believe this is the best course probably in the state. If you are a visitor, this is a great choice or even the 2 courses at giants ridge. All within half an hour of each other

Highly recommend, whether it’s a simple dinner or a private event. We can’t thank the Wilderness Grill staff enough. This golf course has been my husband’s favorite place in the world since he was small. It was an absolutely dream to get married here last August and have our families experience the incredible vibe this place encompasses you in. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing, from the chef to the event coordinator to the bartenders; I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day. Thank you so much for everything.

This is the place. Top 3 public course in the state but haven't played the other two. Conditions were great. Staff is some of the best and very friendly. Played on a Saturday afternoon and ranger was very busy with slow play/drunk players.

Great course. I’ve been playing golf for 40 years all over the Midwest and this course is a solid 9.5 out of 10. Condition is very good and the green speeds were fast but playable. Make sure you play the correct tees and you will enjoy every minute. I would highly recommend this course to everyone and all skill levels.

Played there for my first time this Saturday. Easy to see who to is a regular on the Golf Digest Top 100 list. Great views and none of the holes are forgettable. Awesome staff and food at restaurant was great.
