I had the pleasure of playing The Wilds Golf Course today, and it was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. The course is set against a backdrop of breathtaking natural scenery — every hole offers picturesque views that make it hard to focus solely on your game. The layout is thoughtfully designed, with constant undulating landscapes that keep things challenging and interesting without feeling overwhelming. Elevation changes, rolling fairways, and strategic hazards make each hole feel unique and rewarding. In addition to the fantastic course conditions, the luxury ameniti…

Very disappointed with the course and the maintenance crew today. Most of the tee boxes were covered in sand and the maintenance crew were aerating a few of the tee boxes while we were teeing off along with lawn mowers driving up and down the fairways on multiple holes. The greens were peppered with ball marks and not what one would expect with the reviews and the cost to play an upscale course. The clubhouse staff and fairways were fantastic.

One of the best public golf courses in Minnesota. Great practice facility with 18 great holes. Great food in restaurant as well with outdoor patio. Love all the improvements by the new owners. The new indoor golf simulators are fantastic!

Incredible experience. Greens were in phenomenal shape for late October and rolled so true, the course very thoughtfully designed. The fall colors were on full display, accentuating so many picturesque holes. The hospitality and food is second to none as well. A must play for any Minnesota golfer!

Had the pleasure to golf the wilds with my father today and it was a treat! Inside clubhouse had lots of options for gear, apparel, food and beverages. 10 minute interval per group and didn’t have to wait behind any group, pace of play was perfect. For early in the season green and fairways were cut nice, would be nice to have yardage marks at driving range but other than that driving range was nicely set up with layout and size. Golf cart were also a treat very nice updated and clean, digital monitor for yardage on a higher tier priced course would make it even more enjoyable and feel more fu…

Awesome day playing the Wilds. Carts were stocked with range balls and a club cleaner. Greens rolled very pure. Course overall was in phenomenal shape. Had a delicious southwest wrap at the turn. No waiting on the course or in the clubhouse. A very well run establishment.

My first time playing The Wilds in several years and I am wondering why I stayed away so long (the course is 15 mins from my home). Their clubhouse and restaurant staff are welcoming and efficient. The course was in excellent shape, tee box to green. The large greens are challenging and roll fast. Fairways are wide, but it is easy to get in trouble with errant shots off the tee. Pace of play was good (3.5 hours for 18). Don't miss out on the great chili in the restaurant!

This is one of the nicest golf courses south of the river. The entire community of homes are built around the golf course. You dont have to be a member to own a home here. All styles of homes in this community. You can walk or bike to Prior Lake, Mystic Lake Casino. The neighborhood is very clean, well cared for and quiet. People take pride in their homes. I have sold many homes in this area and neighborhood over the years and I still think its one of the nicest south of the river and in Prior Lake.

Spectacular course from start to finish. Massive free practice facility right in the front. This course really makes you feel in the wild while in a suburban setting. With large mature trees everywhere, water, and extremely dramatic elevation change. Some holes have totally blind shots to very sloped greens. The bunkers also have a lot of slope and scattered all over the course. With all the hazards everywhere and it being a long course, you are in for a difficult round here. The great Fall prices, close to the metro location, and amazing views, this makes The Wilds a must play MN course.

Well designed course with decent quality grass. Had fun playing here and shot well. The course plays short even from tips. My only concern is the course rate for weekday morning is steep otherwise, the round was exciting.
