Many visitors appreciate the course's welcoming atmosphere and the improvements made over time. Not really upset at anyone person. It has more to do with that apparently on Fridays it’s members only. There were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot . I went down to Beall Meade and they were ready to accommodate with a tee time . Just a head scratcher, even the guy at the other course said he has never heard of that .

I fell in love with this 9 hole course , it's a great country course that is rough around edges but fun to play. It has greatly improved this year and the crew is very friendly which got me to join as a member. Come out and give it a try.

I’ve been coming here on the driving range and the course for a few weeks now, great staff and great prices. Would highly recommend coming out to play.

My son, Eric, and I traveled from Wisconsin to Thomson, Georgia to go to a practice round at the Masters. We decided that we should play a quick round of golf on the day we arrived, so decided to go to Thomson Country Club, a 9 hole course just out of Thomson. What a great time we had. The golf was very reasonably priced, and the owners of the the course were wonderful to two golfers from Wisconsin. They introduced us to two regular golfers who were also from Wisconsin, and treated us like friends. I recommend playing at this delightful course where you will leave having enjoyed the golf and g…

Decent layout, the first 6 holes work clockwise around the property, the last three sort of fill-in the middle. Greens are small, and some had major fungal problems creating very diverse putting surfaces. Trees are along most fairways, but not really a problem. Holes 3 and 5 are similar. Both par 5's, #4 and #7 are under 500 yards. Not a bad course, but it is evident that little is spent on maintenance. I spent $17 for 18 holes and a cart. They let my 7 year old play for free.

Thoroughly enjoyed this old school golf course. Reminded me of playing a local course back home. Wide open straight forward play with a friendly staff.

Go there and make some memories. Since 1988 my Dad (Don Watkins) and I played golf here until he passed away in 2018. Some of my best memories with Dad was while playing golf here.
