Champions Retreat Golf Club

It’s a private course ,three nines one designed by Jack Nicklaus, one designed Arnold Palmer, and one designed by Gary player . I was lucky enough to get to play all three(I was a guest of one of the founding members). Extremely difficult courses. Especially for a high handicap like myself. But I loved it. The generosity and hospitality of my host was 2nd to none and exceeded only by my gratitude. Thank you again Arlon . Still bragging about it almost 20 years later. Probably the hardest course I’ve ever played and will always be my favorite.

Champions Retreat! Excellent facility, a must golf in Georgia. Greens are fast and difficult. Layout is top notch!!! I'd love the chance to come-back for another shot and to play the "Bluff" 9. Updated 3/23/23 It's even better than I remembered! In my opinion, the Bluffs are the most difficult set of 9 holes. This is a must see/must play facility! There's a good chance #2 on the bluffs could determine who makes the finals of the Augusta National Womens Amateur tournament. A front left pin position there could be disastrous

Had the opportunity to play this course during a tournament. It was an absolute treat and challenge. It is wonderfully designed and well maintained. The fairways and greens were great! Would definitely love to play again. Top notch!!

Love this club!!! The ladies Operation 36 group lessons were beyond what I could’ve imagined! The Pro Mike is amazing and made it such a great experience! I will definitely sign up again!!!

Excellent service and pristine environment. Ideal setting for first class events.

I took golfer's here and even though I didn't get to see everything I seen enough to know that it's very nice beautiful, and the course is huge. I also picked them up and all I can say is they asked me to come at 230pm but I ended up coming at 745. We didn't leave until about 815pm let's just say they had a wonderful time and felt very good.
