Tierra Oaks Golf Club

Best golf course experience in Redding and it's not even close. Fairways are in great shape, greens are phenomenal and fast. Definitely one of the most aesthetically pleasing courses in Northern California. Also the best bloody mary in town.

With the new ownership, within 3 months the course is in great shape and the new owner has a vision of what a course should be . I looked so forward to becoming a member and not disappointed at all . Also some of the best food of any course I’ve played. . If you played this course last year 2022 and had a bad rating for it , you should go try it again .

Three things: 1. Very friendly atmosphere, the people in the proshop were helpful and nice. 2. You can tell the new owners and the workers are doing/did a great job at restoring the course. 3. Very beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Overall my favorite course in Redding so far and it’s only getting better!

Tierra Oaks does not meander. It confronts. The course stretches through the dry Northern California hills like a taut question, winding with architectural intent—each fairway a corridor of judgment. I’m a local fishing guide and my clients and I often play Tierra. It’s by far the best course in Redding. The owners are hands on, making your play very organized and enjoyable. I highly recommend you stop and play a round or have a beverage and or lunch. Last, need to schedule an event? It’s a awesome venue and setting!

Over the past year, the new owners at Tierra Oaks have made many noticeable improvements to the course and restaurant. The club has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff are always very friendly and professional. The food at the restaurant is consistently great, whether you pop in for Sunday brunch or dinner and music at one of the Friday Nite live events. Thank you to all the dedicated individuals who have made Tierra Oaks the best golf club in Redding.

One of, if not the best course in town. Prices are reasonable and food/drink is good. Only negative thing to say is that my ball always seems to find its way out of bounds... Might just be a skill issue though.

Was a fun experience to play here in summer for the 4th of July. The course was fun and conditions were typical for summer, everything was dry and dead, and the greens were fast. Only complaint is the pace of play. Understandably it’s gonna be slower if we’re playing on the 4th of July but waiting on the tee box for 20 minutes pushes that beyond its limit.

Not a great experience. The fairways are all dirt and sand and the rough is like hitting off of concrete. The greens do not role true either. Could be a really nice course but was in bad shape. Dumb holes too.

I always pay for any purchase and game of golf the same day and have never set up an account with The Golf Club Tierra Oaks. Yet their bookkeeping practices need investigated as I have had to prove ( a number of times) after being duplicate charged for services or merchandise. I quit 8 years ago do to this experience and within the last year rejoined thinking it must have improved because I like the course, but to my surprise the same thing exists. This is a beautiful and challenging golf course. Very well kept and friendly staff. Great driving range and putting area. My favorite golf course in Redding. Try it, you’ll fall in love too.
