In summary

Turner Valley Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, scenic mountain views, and friendly, professional staff. The course layout is appreciated for its variety and challenge, appealing to golfers of different skill levels, and the on-site restaurant receives positive feedback for its food and service. However, some visitors mention occasional slow pace of play and issues with course signage and cart paths, which could be improved for a better overall experience.

Course was in great shape when we golfed there May 30, 2026. Pace of play was great. Course is walkable but I'd recommend a cart to those with any sort of physical impairment-there is elevation changes and some big distances between holes. Fairly true to handicap and some small greens. Hope to be back one day. Friendly pro shop staff and great service at the on-site restaurant. No reason to not give 5 stars.

Layout and design - 7/10 Conditions - Fairways were good, greens in good shape. There were no patches around, so good maintenance. The back nine has nice view of mountains. Price - paid twilight rate with cart $70 Clubhouse - average for a small town It was very good value and they could improve on adding 150 yard marker, like all golf courses. Also, only had one set of flags. A 45 minute drive from west side of calgary

Really liked it. Honestly a bit of a sleeper course with some great holes and good condition. Hidden gem for sure with a great small town vibe. Ill be back. Almost reminded me of redwood with easier green complexes.

This is a solid course. Good service, good restaurant, great location in a beautiful spot. This course definitely has 5 star potential. The greens at this course were amazing. Everything rolls true with some interesting angulation. One green had been under repair but they are at least improving the rough areas, and also leave signs for golfers to move off of it. This shows they think about the actual golfers. I've golfed many greens under repair without instructions. Few holes had the views we were seeking, but given the price its awesome. You will randomly get some mountain views here and i…

Very scenic golf course with some picturesque holes, such as #18. Just enough water and sand on the course to keep the average golfer frustrated, that is, if you can't hit a straight ball.

Beautiful course, in excellent condition, but too far from far north Calgary where we live. First time I've seen a friendly moose on a golf course. Edit August 3 2022: the course is in poor condition this summer. Many greens are unplayable, bunkers are hard and full of rocks, rough not trimmed in the trees and around hazards. And they still charge full price. Don't think I'll be back.

We went to the driving range Friday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy. Then had supper on the patio, fish Friday - it was haddock & it was very good. Looking forward to going here this summer. The staff was amazing…Thanks to Christie
