Ubly Heights Golf and Country Club

Absolutely love this place! Ive been golfing for about 15 yrs now and I have been to quite a few courses in and out of state. This is one of my top 3 favorite courses ever! Hidden Gem with outstanding course conditions everytime ive been there.Their bunkers are probably the best maintained bunkers Ive ever played with awesome quality sand. No stones or pebbles just pure fluffy sand. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes are all maintained impeccably. Awesome course...awesome staff! The club pro Tyler is an awesome guy! Love this place!

Played Ubly Heights on Sunday August 24, 2025. Club staff were helpful and courteous. The course was in excellent shape and the greens were outstanding. Had a great time as the pace of play was acceptable. The only issue we had was there were no hot dogs or sandwiches available when we made the turn. The woman that was in charge of that was busy talking with the bartender, and as we were looking for something to eat, she told the bartender “ I guess I should make some sandwiches “. Other than that it’s definitely worth playing again.

I'm in love! First time here and I give it 5 Stars. This course has some breathtaking views considering it is in the heart of flat farmland. I really enjoyed the layout. Greens are the nicest I've seen in the thumb area (they are fast!). The fairways are in the same condition as some of the greens we've played elsewhere. Majority of the holes are wide open for a fun day at the course. I probably had a dozen positive comments on the first 4 holes because I was in awe . Excellent course. Tyler and his team a super friendly and we felt very welcomed making the trip to play Ubly. The course is fun, great layout, and in excellent, top notch condition.

A hidden gem out in the country. A well maintained golf course with a friendly and courteous staff. An added bonus was the very reasonable prices for green fees and at the clubhouse for drinks and food.

This is my favorite golf course I have ever played. Most courses that are kept as well as this course are usually very challenging, and you tend to lose your ball a ton. Not here. Ubly Heights is beautiful and so well maintained, but also forgiving with many holes having big wide fairways. The fairways feel like there is a cushion of air running under them. The heather is wispy and looks dense from afar, but you will be able to find your ball in it most of the time. Hitting out of it presents its own challenge as well, but it is doable. We attended a conference here and enjoyed the large space available. The food was excellent, has a full service bat and they serve Pepsi which is rare. The staff were helpful and accomodating. It is a bright spot in Ubly and can easily recommend it for your family, business, or church needs.

Had my daughters wedding here in June 2021. Extremely reasonable price! They went above and beyond to make her day special! Not so many silly rules like a lot of other country clubs! I loved the manager! She was awesome! We even had the ceremony out on the grass behind the country club! I would do it all over again here!

My best friend just got married in the country club. The rooms were spacious and very accommodating to her huge guest list (300+?), the live band, the buffet, the photo booth, the cake table and the dance floor. They allowed her to start decorating the rooms a few days before hand at her convenience. The servers and bartenders were very friendly and helpful. It was truly a beautiful reception.

This is one of the best maintained courses out there. Such a friendly staff. Showed up an hour early and were the first golfers there and the groundskeeper gave us 3 bags of range balls and allowed us to go off whenever we wanted. The course was maintained impeccably from the Prestine fairway to the devilish greens this is a must place for any golfer.

Fairways were perfect today. Recently aerated greens but it's that time of the year. Totally enjoy playing here but found it strange that there wasn't a rake at any of the sand traps.

Best course in the thumb by far. Best layout, best conditions tee to green... great job to the staff at Ubly, keep it up!
