Went there today for the IHSA boys sectionals for golf today. I'm sorry I didn't get their name's, but the two ladies working in the clubhouse went above and beyond to help my husband and I get a golf cart. When we got there the carts were all gone because all of the spectators that were there. They called one of the club members to see if they could rent us their cart, which they did. My husband has to use a Cane quite often and today was one of those days. Thank you to all envolved. It just goes to show you their are still compassionate people in the world. We wouldn't have been able to watc…

My Son was on the High School Golf Team his Sophomore year. After the season was over, he had a leftover token for a bucket of balls. I took him to Valley View one day during the summer so he could hit a bucket of balls. As we approached the driving range, one of the, "members" approached me. He asked me if I was a "member". I explained the left over token, but was interrupted by the member, "I wasn't talking about him." I explained that I was his father and I was going to watch him hit his bucket of balls. My Son just wanted to leave. My parting shot, as my son tugged my sleeve, was, I'm not…

Played here for the first time recently and the course is in fantastic shape. The greens are quick, true and very good shape. The views on some holes are awesome and you can't beat the price. Dave was very nice and accommodating as he knew we were coming from Chicago. The whole staff was friendly as well. Will definitely be back at some point.

Probably the best course I’ve been too before. Was very green and lush.

This course is beautiful and well-maintained. The greens are exceptional. The clubhouse was recently renovated. The holes have something for every skill level. The front 9 is mostly dry and forgiving and the back 9 has some tricky holes to challenge you.

Who out there doesn't enjoy a real challenge? Boy, I only get to play this course once a year but I'm trying to get my schedule moved around to see if I can do my game proud. The elevation changes on some of the holes are shocking to say the least. And the water holes are challenging. You see when you golf a course most of the time you just select the right club on water holes and on certain approach shots. You've been there many times and you draw on that experience. But play this course and get challenged. When you get to the greens they are very fast with slopes and breaks that you have to…

I just played VV today 9/26/19 and the course was in super shape again as usual, especially after aerating just a few weeks earlier! I caught a gentleman named “Blinke” working on the course to complement him on the course, he took time to explain how they keep the course in such great shape! This place is a gem and is everything you want in a round of golf, great setup, fairways, greens, and views! Everyone that works there is very friendly and happy to see you playing golf at VV, play here and it’s a guarantee that you will be back!!
