Van Nuys Golf Course

The Van Nuys golf course is reliable. It is not only affordable but also very well kept. I found the fairways and greens to be clean. If I had one critique it would be that around the last tee the light doesn't turn on so playing hole 18 at night is tedious. Minor critique. Although I have yet to play 9 holes, I can vouch for the 18 that I have played. Enjoyable course that is great for all around swing practice. Driving range about to be closed Nov 3rd for renovations, Executive course closed for renovations. 18hole par 3 is great! Pace of place was 2hr15min and it was busy. And they are installing new lights for night golf on the par 3 course. Greens were in the best condition I have ever seen them.

It's a must do for golfers easy on no waits and soon to be after construction the best thing since sliced bread,lol. Always good times and cool people.

Had a fantastic experience at Van Nuys Golf Course! Huge shoutout to John and Jenna — the new owners of the clubhouse (aka cafe) are doing an incredible job. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, and flavorful…..I’m still in shock! The food is so much better. It’s great to see the positive changes already taking place. If you haven’t been lately, it’s definitely worth a visit. Keep up the great work, John and Jenna! 👏🏿

I had a blast at Balboa Golf Course! I took my second lesson today and I must say I need to go back..🏌️‍♂️ and practice some more. Some of my clients love playing I would love to join them out on the course. I would definitely recommend for a new players.⛳.

Convenient location in San Fernando Valley. Range ball large bucket 100ea $11 18 holes Par 3 course Daytime - lots of kids learning golf. Airplanes passing by a lot so sometimes annoying However Good price and a hanger at each spot.

1st time coming here,by accident. I was driving back to finish at a job site & noticed a lot of trees and space and was thinking there has to be a course in there. All I had to do is look to my right and there we go! Course design is clever with an executive and a par 3 that's divided into 2×9 or 18,giving you 3 options to play. Driving range is under construction but they do have lights for the course on until 9ish! Very helpful guy in the pro shop,thanks bro and cool patrons on the course-the 2 course sharks Josh & Eric!! I’ve been coming to van nuys golf course since I was 12 I’m 28 now and recently started getting back into the game. There is rarely ever a wait time. Only $18 to play the executive course or full 18 par 3 course, Yes the whole par 3 is lacking luster in the lush green fairway department but you should only really be using irons almost exclusively for that course. As someone who has struggled hitting irons on the softest of grass the tough ground usually makes you dig in under the ball more thus getting a lot better wedge practice. Leaving this up until it’s fixed. Men’s restroom door is left WIDE open because it’s broken. Wouldn’t be a problem if you didn’t see men urinating. Apparently golf as a sport is such a man’s world that this has been going on and the women told me “we just look down as we walk by” had to see clubhouse cashier pissing literally. Also, wayyyy too comfortable peeing at the urinal, instead of in the stall if that’s an issue. Had a great time playing in the driving range. Im visiting from out of state so it was great/cheap $1per club to rent and $10for 100balls. I felt women friendly and would recommend any new golf/ beginners before coming know golf etiquette and the difference between a drive and a wood.

I just bought my first set of golf clubs from Costco, and I searched up near by driving ranges, Van Nuys was the closest, I felt a little scared going because it was my first time, but the worker inside the shop “Dom” told me everything I needed to know and was very helpful with all the questions I had, will definitely be going back, this will be my go to spot!
