What People Say

In summary

Woodley Lakes Municipal Golf Course is appreciated for its wide, flat layout and well-maintained greens, making it an enjoyable and accessible course for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course offers a pleasant atmosphere with its open spaces and municipal pricing, and the staff and amenities, including the gastropub, receive positive mentions. However, some visitors have noted issues such as occasional flooding, slow pace of play, and maintenance concerns, particularly with the driving range and rough areas.

Accompanied my son to the golf course cuz he wanted to work on his putting. It was early evening around 6:00 p.m. first time I've ever been here, it was Nice in the atmosphere was fresh. Not really a golf fan but I'm trying and had fun exercising and learning how to put. Don't ask me any other questions cuz I wouldn't be able to answer you. No Nothing about golf.

A nice out-of-the-way golf course a bit off the beaten path of the other local courses within a block of the 101 Freeway. It’s a fairly good golf course and driving range that doesn’t seem so busy on weekdays though the weekends can be more crowded. I love the wide open space with local park facilities within walking distance. The golf club house is very nice with its facilities, though when I went, the restrooms were closed. The downside is, as part of the Sepulveda Dam flood control basin it’s prone to flooding with significant rainfall. On the upside, a little flooding helps the greenery th…

The course you may break your best score. This course is pretty flat & wide. Not maintained rough area, but don't worry about getting in rough. Huge fairway on every hole. greens are maintained very well. 4 and half hrs for 18 holes with 60 bucks included cart.

I learned how to play golf on this course back in the mid 80's. So much fun! After about 4 years I shot par once, and got my first and only eagle on the 8th hole. Haven't played it in 40 years.

This course deserves an excellent rating. They’ve improved so much since the worst day of the pandemic lockdown. The gastropub is now open and the greens are immaculate. The rough looks like it needs some trimming but isn’t that what it’s for though, not to be be there. Fairly easy open course with a few challenges. Fun place to play for the average golfer.

It a nice course to play, couple of messy areas but overall a nice course. Greens were punched recently and puts were a little bouncy! I forgot to mention that the burgers here are pretty darn good!!

Fun golf course! Wide, on the mediumush long distance course. Occasional dirt patches, but overall well maintained. Greens are def on the slower side, but are very well maintained, and are difficult to read. Jennifer in the Pro Shop was very helpful and kind.

Wide fairways lets driver shots all day. Very hot valley heat! Bring plenty of water/drinks to hydrate your self. Be aware of geese and their droppings.

Woodley is a beautiful and quiet golf course, teeming with all kinds of birds. I always enjoy it, especially it's municipal prices.
