In summary

Villa Roma Resort offers a variety of activities and amenities, making it a fun destination for families, especially those with young children learning to ski. However, many guests note that the resort is outdated, with maintenance issues and a lack of modern amenities in the rooms. While the food and service receive positive remarks, the overall experience is often marred by cleanliness concerns and the need for significant updates.

The rooms are a bit rustic, but completely functional and clean. I stayed in the timeshares within an efficiency kitchen and a small deck overlooking the resort. When this place was in a heyday, I’m sure it was amazing. However, there’s quite a bit of differed maintenance. The bowling alley, racket sports area and arcade area are in shambles. The location is key as it’s in the center of just about everything and you can do anything from fly fishing the sightseeing to skiing from this location. If you have somebody new to skiing , it’s a perfect hill. reasonably priced, not packed and perfect…

Please watch the videos and look at the photos for yourself. Upon check in our room ( suites) were NOT ready. We were told they had a 100 person check out so they were running behind . The wait in the lobby was terrible there were kids everywhere. They were lounging around with no socks and shoes dirty feet on everything. It was a 1 1/2 hour longer wait . When we got to the room I was disgusted 🤢 the smell the floors the stains the eggs and bugs . When I pulled back the mattress, there was blood in your instance everywhere the bottom of the bed was disgusting . I was very disappointed in the p…

This is my family’s second time going to the Villa Roma. We had a great first experience three years ago and we wanted to come back again! It was wonderful!! Pros: there’s a lot to do: snow tubing, swimming, skiing, bowling, gym, bocce, bouncy houses, table tennis, and so much more. There is an ice cream shop, bar area, game room, arcade… so many spaces and things to do. If you are here with the all-inclusive package, then everything is included. It’s honestly amazing. The food was our favorite part; it is absolutely delicious. You get to enjoy a 5 course meal every single night! Fresh eggs a…

You know its a terrible place when all they have is barefoot wine from the gas station. It was outdated, understaffed and not helpful, smelled moldy in room and in the hallways, found bugs in bedroom, you can hear every sound outside of your room including your neighbors TV, many amenities don't happen, broken or closed. Bring cash if you plan on doing anything. Don't trust the website list of activities. We left 2 days earlier in our 4 day stay. Staff didn't bother to ask why cause they know they on a sinking ship. Not worth the price and honestly why hasn't the health inspection closed down…

This is a review for the SKI. The mountain, though small, was very convenient and enjoyable for us. We stayed in a nearby cabin, so we decided to visit. The prices were reasonable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the female teenager staff at the ski rental, who was a bit rude. Apart from that, everything else was great.

It was not bad, the rooms were a bit run down, but it was big and the bathroom. The rooms are not sound proof, you can hear people upstairs walking. The food we had was good at first but then it got a little bad after. The restaurant inside food was fantastic.

I recently stayed at Villa Roma Resort for a weekend trip, and overall, we did have a good time—but there are definitely some major areas that need improvement. First, the positives: the trip itself was enjoyable, especially spending time with my lady and the group that traveled with us from Baltimore. The atmosphere and the social experience made the weekend fun. However, the resort itself feels very outdated. The rooms were missing basic amenities you’d expect, especially for guests staying multiple days. There were no charging ports, no microwave, and no refrigerator. There wasn’t even a…

Needs to be upgraded. The place is clean. Food was good. The room key is an actual metal key. We enjoyed watching the deer roam the property. Being here November first wasn't the best time of year. It was chilly.

I’ve been here 5 times usually in May and September for work purposes. The resort has been taken over by new management and you can tell. The rooms are stuck in the 60’s. They have the waiter and waitress fixing the plates and bringing them to the tables. They seem over worked!!! We have the privilege having the amazing Andrea and James. Very kind and understanding to the population that we bring. I’m not sure if management understands.

Very outdated. The remote control for the TV didn't work and the channels couldn't be changed on the set either so we were stuck with one channel. We had to wait for someone from maintenance to come look at it. They offered to put us in another room but we would have to wait as they were busy checking people in. We had already waited for over an hour and didn't want to hang around any longer. We had tickets to a concert at Bethel Woods and wanted to explore the area. We declined another room. The parking fo the hotel is across a road and a bit of a walk. Not a problem for us, but, the lighting…

This place holds so many memories for my family and I as kids. It used to be such a great place with so much to do. I returned after 30 years with my own children and what a disappointment. The rooms and hotel decor is exactly as it was 30 years ago. The rooms are dingy and the cleaning staff does nothing but make the beds. There's a lot of activities but a majority of them either don't work or are only open for a few hours a day. Years ago you would see so many staff members engaged in activities with the guests. Now, there's no one around. They make the activities and food sound so much bett…

Spent three nights with family of 17. One room had a broken bed which was not exchanged until the last night. One room had black mold in the bathroom and black moid came out of the jetted tub. Handicapped room was up a steep incline and had a two inch step into the room which was not marked. I fell and got hurt. Cafe was out of most food items. In dining room the Pork Oso Busso was not fresh. Ketchup was tainted and removed from the table. The pool. arcade and ski chalet were nice. Staff was very good. Bingo fun.
