In summary

Lochmor Golf Course is praised for its picturesque setting with scenic views of lakes and mountains, well-maintained greens, and a layout that offers a mix of challenging and forgiving holes. Many visitors appreciate the value for money and the friendly service from most staff members. However, some guests have reported issues with staff rudeness and occasional wet conditions on the course.

The course is dynamic and fun. The green fees were not expensive and came with a cart rental. The course looses a start because there were geese everywhere so at some points it took some maneuvering. Overall a fun day of golf.

Person at the desk was rude. Would not honor the price on THEIR website. They didn't have score cards. They made copies of it. There was no direction on where the first hole was located. The people playing were helpful and nice, guiding us where to go for tee boxes and holes. The starter was also helpful once we found him. The greens and tee boxes were great and the fairways were free of leaves. Very scenic.

Today it was like our own golf course. Played eighteen holes in two and three quarter hours. And not rushing.

My wife and I played there today. The course was well manicured and fun to play. The rolling hills, the mountain scenery and the lake coupled with perfect weather and temps made for a great experience. The staff was excellent. There are a few blind holes where it would be easy to drive up on someone in the fairway from the tees if one is not careful - typical of many mountain courses. A neighboring course, Wall Kill, has gongs which can be struck by the players in front when they are moving clear of the fairway.

The course is on a hillside lake and is very picturesque , it gets wet , so find a dry week and you’ll enjoy it for the value $$ … the conditions are great !!! Perfect bunkers ( not many traps ) , fairways and tee boxes , greens are well maintained

The course was especially nice with lots of long challenging par 4s. The greens were very well kept and overall played well. However the staff there was quit rude and I’m not impressed how I was treated. I am very disappointed because this course has potential to be a gem if only it had better staff. Overall I would recommend finding a different course to play at so you can enjoy your round without worrying about the rude staff.

The Lochmor Course is a super nice course for those looking for a challenge. It was a fun challenging time however my experience was ruined due the attitudes of some of the staff members. They were quite rude and seemed to not care about the golfers using the facilities. If your looking for an inviting and warm experience where your patronage is valued, look elsewhere.

Very good condition. Great staff. Like many muni golf courses, the sand traps need work

$49 for 18 holes includes a cart on a Saturday morning. The course is not Shinnecock or Bethpage Black, but the 5 stars is for the value. The course was in great shape (played on 8/21/21) - greens, tees, fairways, and the course was well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful - right from the start with a young guy bringing us a cart in the parking lot, to the club house check-in guy, to the starter. Not a difficult course to play but not an easy one either. Water comes into play on a few holes; great scenic views of the lakes and mountains. Definitely worth the value and can't wait to pla…

The course was nice and well maintained, however the staff were rather rude to us. There were a couple staff members playing behind us and started driving before we even had a chance to get on the green. Over all not a great experience.
