Nice public courses. Terrain can be a little tough if you've got bad knees or any kind of handicap. Some nice scenic views. Worth the trip if you're in the area of Resorts World Catskills.

The annual Bill Carlson classic put on by the Hurleyville fire department is a great time! Look at the fire departments website for next years tournament date!

Beautiful course, seemed like a reasonable cost for 9 and a cart, but the people made the experience lousy. I'm new to the game, only played once before and gone to a driving range a few times. One other player in the foursome was also new, the other two moderately experienced. So, yes, we were slow. The group right behind us asked to play through. Of course, no problem. Apparently the group after that went and complained to the clubhouse. A staff-person came and told us we had to skip the rest of the hole we were on. Crappy, but ok. Course is in okay shape, however, the experience was tainted due to the behavior of certain staff members. The starter was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and was annoyed that he had to do his job. We were told by one of the pros when making the tee times that only good and experienced golfers can play here which is ironic because it is a public course not a private county club. The pace of play was outrageously slow and for how uptight the staff was you would think they would be on top of keeping groups moving. Played an early round a couple weeks ago and was totally blown away by the condition of this hidden gem. Haven't been in these parts since my bellhop days over at the Brickman which used to be right down the road. As we all know a lot has changed since then, but this incredible golf track has not and if anything is even better then it was, during the Catskill hay days. My new pal Bruce even offered me the Senior rate, cause I'm an alta cocka now..:) So worth the ride up from NYC to play this course and so highly recommended from this old time golf loving hacker!!

Nice 18 hole course. Well groomed. fair ways are wide and the greens are very wide also.

Course was well maintained, greens and fairways we're in excellent condition, and there were some great views of the surrounding area. The tee boxes were a little beat up, but that's no different than from any of the other courses I've been to this summer. If anything, they may have been in better shape. What's truly nice is for five extra dollars you can get lunch that was well worth the money - burger, soda, chips. (there may be other options). Great place to golf. Good value. Enjoyable layout. Average difficulty in my opinion (some longer holes). Staff is friendly. Course is well maintained but certainly not pristine. The course can get (and stay) wet in spots. Its a good value for the money.

Nice course with very friendly staffs. Wanna come back for autumn season for must be beautiful scenery. Lot's of trees surrounding rolling hills. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens are all good. Slow green! Fresh new sand in all bunkers ... still heavy so needs firm and decisive bunker shot! Super fast pace ... completed in only three hours and thirty min.

Nice course....friendly staff. Lots of elevation changes...not many water hazards except the par 3 #17 but hole #6 was my fav. What a beautiful approach shot at #6. Greens relatively difficult and fairways were generous. I prefer the back 9 because I like the look of the longer holes. #18 up hill was pretty challenging and getting up there in 2 is tough one.

Played 18 today. Great course, awesome views. Greens in good shape, played a little slow today. Fairways wide open and long. Have to pay attention to the slopes. Very fun to play.

Course is in great shape. Have to be mindful of the slopes of fairways, specially when the fairway is blind off the tee. Staff is very friendly. I recommend the lunch with the round. The cheeseburger was outstanding!!
