Shawangunk Country Club

Awesome 9 hole course with great mountain views and layout. There are four markers and accommodates beginner to intermediate golfers. Course was kept in really great shape, we played after a day of heavy rain and it drained well. This is a walk on golf course, can’t book a tee time. We went on a weekday morning and were able to walk on without a wait. While it was hilly, definitely a walkable course if you walk often.

Played for first time 9/2022. Friendly greating, great prices and beautiful setting. I Loved the course, the hills, dips and valleys make a short 9 holes challenging. Summer of 22 was dry, the course was green as can be. Compliments to the staff.

The course was amazing. Absolutely beautiful fairways, tees, and greens. The food not so much. We were bombarded by flies. When I told the waitress about the fly in my beer she promptly came over with a fly swatter. She didn't replace the beer either.

Great course amazing mountain view walk on course I played here for the first time with my dad when i was about 5 and i still play here to this day at 16 and it is still amazing every time the golf team is a really fun experience coach john Paulson is also a counselor at Ellenville school and he has helped me improve a pretty good amount in just 3 practices staff is nice as well it is a hilly walk but fun non the less would recommend

This course has the best backdrop view, and many elevation changes and course is maintained great!

Tough little mountain course! In very nice shape!

Went to golf Wednesday 2:30 pm, went to the counter and said 9 holes with a cart and was told I could not play as the league starts at 3 pm. Disapointed as I would be done in plenty of time to return the cart. Other than that course is in great shape and everyone is always friendly

Nice place to eat. I've been there a few times now. Staff is friendly. I've eaten a few different meals there including the salmon, branzino, a burger, and the cheese steak. All were very good. They have a Sunday brunch that is also very good. I will be back.

Course is green and the greens are fast. Being very well maintained. Very nice local place to play. Good enough to challenge but still fun for the occasional player.

Love this challenging 9 hole course. The grounds crew keep the greens in fantastic shape.

Greens are pristine. Course has improved greatly. New greens keeper does a fantastic job. Well worth a play...
