In summary

Village Green Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, enjoyable layout, and well-maintained greens, with the restaurant receiving positive feedback for its food and service. However, some visitors have noted concerns about the course's condition, citing issues like aerated greens, uncut rough, and clover in the fairways, as well as slow service at the pro shop and bar. The recent change in ownership has been met with mixed reactions, with some optimistic about improvements and others disappointed with the current state of the course.

My dad and I come here all the time and we love it. The course has a nice layout, I personally love the back to back par 3 on the front 9. The restaurant has been reopened, and the food is absolutely fantastic, I recommend the Stromboli it is a wonderful after a round meal. There are two practice putting greens. The greens of the course are in great condition, considering how much the past owners took care of them. I absolutely recommend this golf course.

Hey new owners!!!! I've been booking this course for years for my golf league. Has always been a good course with great service in the clubhouse. This past Sunday was a different experience. The course was in the worst shape I've ever seen, especially the greens. Who aerates in the spring!?!?! Tons of clover in the fairways that was never there in years past. Seemed like the rough wasn't cut for over a week. One guy running the pro shop and bar. Stopped in at the turn and fell a hole behind because the service was extremely slow. The remodel of clubhouse looks great, but who cares if everythin…

Loved the golf course. Every staff member I talked to was extremely nice. Other golf courses can learn customer service from them. I will definitely make this one of my highly played courses for now on. Oh yeah the course is in great condition.

This is a good golf course. The golf course itself has many different looks and aspects. However the course does not seem to be well taken care of. It has many hazards, including one right in the middle of the fairway, that with a little care could be avoided. I used a cart so I cannot speak as to the walkability of this course. Even with its downfalls its a nice course (as long as your not stuck behind FIVE older ladies who won't let you pass as I was) that offers a decent amount of challenge without being frustratingly hard.

Gone to hell. Used to have a great restaurant not too long ago. Golf course is fair but you can't carry your own cooler on your golf cart, or pretty much your own drinks. The place seems generic just to make a buck.

Hey Bob it's great that you been golfing here for years if you would open your eyes you would understand that the new owners are doing their best and only had two months to try to improve something that has been mismanaged and poorly maintained for years this place was a dump the restaurant had so much grease in the kitchen along with blocked sewage lines it's hard to believe that you thought the food was good. The kitchen has been gutted and completely replaced the bar has been completely replaced the pro shop has been completely replaced. yes I am sorry that the greens were areated to your i…

The restaurant is the worst. Ordered breakfast on a Sunday. The omelette was pathetic. The service was terrible. Waited for 20 minutes and practically had to beg for a waitress to take our order. Food took forever and the portions were tiny and tasted like sadness. Avoid this place at all costs. Eat in.

This is a very nice and fun golf course. Neil Cooper, you are an idiot to say the course was great but only give it 1 star.

Not a level spot on the course. The greens appear to have a disease of some sort.
