Short drive from Saskatoon, fantastic views to get away. Nice beach especially for younger kids. Restaurant has yummy food with great golf course view. Very friendly staff.

Every year, my family and I have the pleasure of visiting this delightful spot for a picnic. Our children thoroughly enjoy indulging in ice cream treats after engaging in swimming activities in the lake and partaking in recreational activities at the playground. Additionally, the lake offers opportunities for engaging in kayaking and paddleboarding, providing further avenues for enjoyment. It is also noteworthy that the restrooms are consistently maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.

Wakaw is a very nice campground. There is a golf course, concession, shower & bathroom facilities. The golf club house has a restaurant. The lake water is crystal clear, the beach is clean. There is a kid's play area on the beach. There are canoe rentals available. It has quite a few campsites, some are grass, others are treed. Our site was large, the dog had plenty of running around space. We had full service, some sites are just electric. There are a couple docks for loading and unloading boats, and a marina. I don't know if it's just seasonal boat parking or if some stalls are year to ye…

Really dirty beach. They have entrance fees for what if they cannot even clean it? The water was smelling awful. Good: Nice short visit, ice-cream (cash only), restrooms, bathrooms, boating, golf ⛳️ Bad: Overcrowded, dirty beach, smelly water, only 5 picnic spots, very congested camping site.

Nice golf course, good food available. Nice camp ground with a decent beach, mini golf. There's Saskatoon berry bushes to snack on when they're in season. There's fish in the lake. 1 hour from Saskatoon. Good place to camp or just stop in for a day trip.

Short drive from Saskatoon, all the needed lake amenities, and a great way to get away from it all. Only draw back is the fact that the water gets green very quickly each season.

Today figured my sister and would check out this lake the beach is small , the weeds are so close and high , we rented a peddle boat for 2 hrs for 30$ the boat peddle ont he left side kept coming out water was filling the boat , there equipment is out dated and very badly kept. Not a hole lot of parking.

Calm, clean beach. It has barbecue and bench and public washroom and bath. Bath is one dollar per 5 minutes.
